I enjoyed the video and you found some unique items that is always a plus. I hope you got to enjoy St. Pete on another day. I have it on my to-visit list and look forward to going. 🙂
Our "bins" in St. Pete are the worst! I always find some good stuff, but I leave with an aching back. I get so jealous watching everyone else's nice blue rolling tables that are so easy to search through. Maybe someday ours will get an upgrade. Glad you found some exciting things, but sorry the weather wasn't cooperating.
In Omaha everything is strewn together, broken glass abounds in the dirty bin bottoms. I find great stuff but nobody digs in the bins without heavy gloves
Most bins have a few gaylords somewhere. Jacksonville, IL gaylords have metal in them and one of the Denver bins puts books in their gaylords. They aren’t my favorite though. 😅 Thanks so much for watching!
I was at the St Pete bins for the first time last week. Those gaylord’s are a back breaker. I got a lot of good shoes, but the clothes bins were so full it was daunting thinking about going thru them so I just skimmed the tops. I also enjoy checking out new bins locations.
That’s cool you got some shoes! I didn’t see very many shoes there at all!! Those are my favorite things to dig through! I don’t blame you for skimming the tops on those clothing bins! My back was killing me when I left that day! Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐿️
I was like: what??? I'm like 45m away from this location!!!!!!! I went to the one south sarasota and is so small, and they have literally trash, nothing to be saved or resale. My sister in law is coming next week and we love thrifting so I'm taking her to the Orlando area but definately this is a new spot to go as well! I'm from OR, and the outlet in portland is a must go friends. I you are there at the beggining of the year, there's also an event called " Biggest Clothing Swap in the Northwest" you just pay the entrance and is never ending tables full of donated clothes, you can take home with you as much as you can!
Ooooooh! That closing swap sounds so super fun! I totally want to check that out! Love the PNW! Hope you and the SIL had fun in the Orlando bins! They're my favorite so far in FL!! (I've been to 5 in FL) The St Pete bins were ok. I wish they didnt' have so many gaylords but more of the regular "boats" like other locations! Thanks so much for watching! Happy digging!
I haven’t been to Ocala! It’s on my list! I’ve been to Fort Meyers, Sarasota, and North Port. All good ones too. At least, I had fun! Thanks so much for watching!
Oh my gosh you were in my Town and I missed you! bummer. I heard our bins are some of the best for finding stuff and the amount they get switched out but the digging is back breaking.
Ooooh! I’d love to go to that location too! I’ve been to North Port and Sarasota. Would also like to go Orlando sometime too! Thanks so much for watching!
I always feel I've had a successful day if I find one amazing item... I have many blowmolds, but I do not have that Snowman so I gasped when you found it. Happy New Year to you and your family!!!!
These are the bins I go to! I live in this area. I usually go on Saturdays but I don’t think I was there that day. I recognize a ton of people in the background though. I have a few buddies there but most people do indeed stick to themselves. I’ve found some great things there but I don’t think it’s been very good lately.
St. Pete has one of the worst outlets and I love bins. If you are still in Florida and want to shop the retail GW, check out the GW in Clearwater. It's a nice one with lots of great purses (Coach, etc). Enjoy the beach!
Yes thanks. I'm from Naples. Our Goodwill's have fantastic high end things. One huge store now run by a different Mgr, has an awful odor. The original Mgr which had a beautiful store told me she trained the intake crew herself with strict instructions. If anything they were unbagging had any type of strong odor, regardless of what it was, it was to be put in a third party donate bin. Also anything noticeably damaged or dirty, donate to third party. It was not to come into the main store at all. And to put it outside/ out back immediately. When she was the Mgr the store was immaculate, and looked like a giant retail dept store store. Well I guess corporate offices noticed her dedication and talents and she told me they offered her a job. It's now run by people that could care less, smells like a wet dirty hamper, some days worse than ever and yiu think, wow what is that smell 😮 Some days the smell is indescribable lol... But if you can hold your breath on n off for an hour, you can find some great items for yourself or to resell. The other locations in Naples are usually immaculate, set up well and have incredible designer buys. My daughter lives in St Pete, I went to the bin store. I was so excited, my first bin store. I go to Goodwill all over the country when I travel. But when I walked in, I saw how everyone was tense, lined up and not friendly at all waiting for them to roll out the bins. I just stood back and browsed and not to close. And the stuff they had that day was just Filthy, just alot of broken garbage, people shoving, pushing. I just stood back and watched. An employee I met told me people have gotten into shoving arguments over items. She said after people look through the bins, what ever is left they put into the garbage in the bk of the store. She said the bins is everything they cannot sell in the stores. I'm not saying people do not find something that is of value to someone or to sell, im sure a fine eye can find some things w perseverance on certain days. But the fact that some people were ready to pounce on you if you came to close to them while they were looking was to much for me. I love and live for a good hunt, and I've gotten pretty dirty, actually filthy, digging through old boxes, garages, barns, basements, sheds and attics at garage & estate sales, even curbside, but nothings worth someone possibly attacking you physically or verbally for anything. And the employee told me, "You see those carts off to the side piled high, never touch those, those are people's bin finds from all through out the day". "Some come first thing a.m. and stay all day". She rolled her eyes and said, "touch those carts or remove something and these people will go off on you". She chuckled and said, "the bins at that Goodwill is a dangerous sport some days"...lol I got quite the education from her that day on the sport of bin picking at Goodwill. I didn't participate in bin picking that day, but I met a really nice person/ employee, and had an educational and funny chat w her. Happy hunting out there everyone. Stay safe. 😊
Hey Kristin! I live on the east coast of Florida and we don't have any Goodwill Outlets/Bins here. The closest is Orlando where they have two. About a year and a half ago I traveled to St Pete for work and while I had some down time I decided to check out exactly the same bins you were at here in your video. I wasn't too impressed with it. No carts. Always on your head to search thru the bins. I am glad to see that the people there are nicer than when I went there. I am so glad you found some items you can flip. I always looks forward to your videos.
Happy New Year’s Kristen & Mr. Squirrel. 🎉🎉🎉 wonderful prices at that Bin at this one. But I am only 5 foot and oh my goodness that would kill me bending over in them Gaylord’s. Thank goodness you are tall. You got some amazing things in this trip. ❤️🤗❤️
We just never know where you might show up.😄You are everywhere. ☺️👍 I would not do well at the St. Pete bins. You were almost standing on your head in those huge boxes. Not a good deal for me. 😮 The Tallahassee, Florida bins have the blue tables. If you like mostly clothing, with a few other items, you could head there the next time you come to Florida. I am sorry you came to the Sunshine State on a rainy day. 😊
LOL! You’re right! Never know where I’ll show up! 😂 Standing on my head there wasn’t my favorite but I’d definitely like to check out the Tallahassee bins some day!! Thanks so much for watching!!
You finally experienced my world!!! I'm only 5' 3", so sometimes its a struggle to reach to the bottom - i feel like I'm about cut in half bending over like that. But... I've found some neat things. Just don't know why our St. Pete store has to be the weird outlier with the gaylords when all the rest just use the blue bins. One really good thing is the Super cheap glass price & last i knew they were pretty liberal w/ what could be included: any breakables/ceramic, glass picture frames, i even got a vintage lantern once at the glass price because of all the glass it has. So that's one good thing.
That glass price there is incredible!! I should’ve paid attention to that and really focused on finding more glass stuff! Really wish I didn’t have to stand on my head to find it though! LOL
Just ti ket anyone else know and give a heads up for this st Petersburg location ***it is not permitted to film here. They employ felons that are housed at this location and it is unsafe if they are seen on film.
You are miss informed. The employees are the felons. Use common sense if someone tells you they are employed there. If security had seen you, you would have been asked to delete while they watched you and if you refuse you would have been banned from store. Letting you know as a courtsey
I agree. I was shocked to see an inside video of our bins. There has *always* been a "no cameras" policy there. I've lived here longer than that location has been here (and reselling longer too) and they've always had that policy since day one.
I enjoyed the video and you found some unique items that is always a plus. I hope you got to enjoy St. Pete on another day. I have it on my to-visit list and look forward to going. 🙂
We had fun, for sure!! Can’t wait to come visit that beach again someday!

Oh wow this was a wild bins location!
💖🥰💖
Fun!!! I haven’t seen bins like that. Have a great time 😊

good to know thank you! Happy New Year!!! 😊@@maureenfitzgerald1895

Here’s to 2024 Sara!! 💗🐿️
That bins location feels so chaotic to me. I prefer Ocala. Thanks for the video.
I haven’t been to Ocala! It’s on my list! I’ve been to Fort Meyers, Sarasota, and North Port. All good ones too. At least, I had fun!
Thanks so much for watching!
Glad to see you back! I’ve missed you and your videos!
Thank you!! Really appreciate that!! 💗🐿️

Oh my gosh you were in my Town and I missed you! bummer. I heard our bins are some of the best for finding stuff and the amount they get switched out but the digging is back breaking.
also its ALWAYS busy!
also you have to ask for cart from back room.
Your town?! That’s awesome!! What a pretty place! These bins did rotate often but it IS backbreaking!! 😅

LOL! Right? What the what?!
Here’s to 2024! Happy New Year! Thanks for watching!
Yikes I would not like to dig like that! 😬 I would but not ideal. Some cool finds I love the queen shirt
Some cool finds for sure!
Wallpaper border I need to look out for those when I am out sourcing.
Right? That stuff sells!!
I always feel I've had a successful day if I find one amazing item... I have many blowmolds, but I do not have that Snowman so I gasped when you found it. Happy New Year to you and your family!!!!
You’re right! Finding that one good thing makes the day!! And this blow mold is fun! Love the pink colors!
Thanks so much for watching! 💖🐿️
Happy New Year Kristin !! 🎉🎈🎆🎊🥂. You are everywhere lol
Happy New Year Vickie!
So grateful for you! Thanks for watching!

You live in a beautiful area of the country! Love it that this is your home bins!! Thanks so much for watching!
0:45 I live down the street from this Goodwill😂
How exciting!! I’d be in trouble if I lived that close to a bins location!! 😅🐿️
St. Pete has one of the worst outlets and I love bins. If you are still in Florida and want to shop the retail GW, check out the GW in Clearwater. It's a nice one with lots of great purses (Coach, etc). Enjoy the beach!

You’re right! Great prices but it would be really hard to be shorter in these things for sure!!
I wish I lived near a goodwill bins 😂
Worth a road trip!!
We just never know where you might show up.😄You are everywhere. ☺️👍

I going to need your eye when I go bin diving in Florida in a few weeks
Yay!! Bins digging in FL?? Which location? You’ll have so much fun!!
Love to see videos. Glad I saw Minnesota before this. Sure didn't like the format of digging. Into the deep bins
Thanks so much for watching! Such a difference in bins locations, isn’t there?
Its amazing how much empty boxes sell for certain products.
Crazy!! A few of those things that other people might just throw away!!
Clearwater Beach is the best! Those bins can’t be far from the airport.
We loved Clearwater Beach (even with the rain) and we flew into Tampa and drove down. Not a bad trip!!
Watching you made my back hurt 😅 those bins seem so low. Full of great stuff though 🎉
Not gonna lie - my back really was hurting after this!
Thanks so much for watching!
I was going to say it looked too cold to be going to the beach
LOL! You weren’t wrong!! It was super cold that day! Perfect day for thrift shopping!

I couldn’t do it with Gaylord’s my back would last about 5 minutes. Your a tough cookie lol
Not gonna lie, my back was hurting by the time I left! Too fun though!
Thanks so much for watching!
Ugh! Just visited your ebay store for the Hermes box and your store is empty :(
Thanks for checking on it - I’ve got my store closed for a bit. Should be up and running by mid-January.
Oh I hate the bin’s locations that have the DEEP bins like that. You feel like you’ve missed a ton…😰
I agree! They’re not my favorite either! I’d rather dig in the rolling blue bins too. Thanks so much for watching!
This is my local bins. It’s terrible.
I’m so sorry - but I might have to agree with you! 😅
Just ti ket anyone else know and give a heads up for this st Petersburg location ***it is not permitted to film here. They employ felons that are housed at this location and it is unsafe if they are seen on film.
There is no sign or anything posted saying that filming is not allowed. Several of the employees knew that I was filming and said nothing to me.
