I praise y’all. My family, husband, daughter her husband and two grandkids did this mine tour a year ago. I stayed up top. They had a wonderful experience. This was a horrible accident and my prayers are with all involved.
Pat was really good buddy of mine. Great father and just an adventurer. He's an Army veteran and has always had different cool occupations. He loves his son so much and I'm just so sad for the little guy. RIP my man.
I'm pretty impressed with this county sheriff. If this had happened in a lot of places, the sheriff wouldn't be the lead on this. He's very knowledgeable.
We hear stuff like this a lot. It's like some sort of weird propaganda instructing us to be hypersensitive. I'm glad others see it, not just me. I'm sorry for the family of the guy that died, but I don't need to heal.
This was inappropriate. 30 minutes of the Sheriff rambling "the community and how great the mine owners have been.". Somebody died, show some respect, make brief comments, not a Chamber of Commerce advertisement.
Understandable. That mine gets shut down, the town, and even the county, goes down with it. All the interviews I've watched with the local officials (sheriff, mayor, that councilman), they all come across as being in full damage control mode on behalf of the mine owners. Good thing OSHA and state mining officials were on the scene quickly. Hopefully no one had time to tamper with the evidence or coerce the tour members. That councilman sure had a case of the nervous giggles.
🤥 ~ I don’t want to make this political, but I am pleasantly surprised that a certain politician didn’t start creating lies and claiming that the White House was not trying to help, that the immigrants did this, etc. There’s a certain politician who is basically claiming that the White House is black, the sky is purple, etc. Claiming that the White House is not calling governors regarding FEMA natural disaster issues that need to be handled, anything to cause confusion and fear and hate for his own political benefit. I constantly criticize people on the left wing and on the right wing that deserve it. This country is tearing itself apart and is determined to live in their own bubble, not even just a regular bubble but a titanium bubble.

Was the victim riding on top of the cage? 😢😢😢😢
I was afraid it was a parent with their kid. Just awful
What do you mean quote as the community heals” ?? 🤦♀️ the community doesn’t need to heal. That poor family just needs to grieve.
