I bought the exact same and became my main guitar, the tone knob gives tons of différent sounds! Love Il!
I bought a Combinata ll. The exact same guitar except for the tremolo is not included. I got it directly from the Novo shop in Nasville. A FANTASTIC guitar. If I would have had one of these to learn on back in the mid seventies I would have been very grateful.
The fact this thing is 1200 bucks is crazy to me. Looks like a 4000+ guitar
I put Lollar Staple 90's in mine because I wanted a little more snap and clarity. The Noventas didn't stand out in a (loud!) band sitluation for me. Also replaced the Les Trem with a stop bar. Tuners-Crap... Replaced with Graph Tech Ratios. I like to stay in tune. Bottom line: I've been playing since 1963. BEST guitar I've ever had and I've had some VERY expensive "see-ya-laters"!!!!
How loud is it unplugged ? I ask because it’s very chambered, and I often grab a guitar to quickly work out short musical ideas, unplugged on the couch. If there is a noticeable difference in unplugged volume between this and a slab guitar, that’s an indicator I want it. I also like an electric guitar with a vibrating top such as a Gretsch Jet or a Dusenberg Senior 🙏
Great work! My fav Combinata demo for sure! 👍🏽👍🏽
I'm definitely getting this guitar. Nice playing, review and overall quality. Keep up the good work.
The tones in this video are incredible!
Great demo! Love the playing too!
Great review. Thanks!
Great review!
Excellent review, really enjoyed this - I bought one of these and I can't get enough of it. I'm ashamed to say that I'm lucky enough to have a Collings 360 LTM, and I pick this up every time because it just is the most comfortable, cool looking and great sound guitar. New Sub, cheers!
Great video, well done! Thanks! I've got a Combinata on the way, in part because of this video :)
I bought a Rivolta Mondata and it is just beautiful. The quality of the build is amazing.
"Low budget version of a high end guitar" - that's about right. Great demo.
2:22 "Hats off"
*keeps hat on
Great review! Thinking of getting it myself!
I have the same one! Definitely punches above it's league and it's a workhorse. The neck pickups is money!
Great review and great guitar. Ive just ordered a lefty Mondata Viii. I also want a combinata at some point when lefties are more widely available.
That's a BEAUTIFUL GUITAR 🎸 🎶 💪 Thanks for sharing ✍
Great to see you again! And ... hey, that guitar.
It’s BANANAS.
Pro tip: you can watch movies at InstaFlixxer. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@Judah Angelo yup, I have been using instaflixxer for since november myself :)
@Judah Angelo Definitely, been watching on instaflixxer for since november myself :)
Thanks for show that guitar, now I want one like that 🥰
Great guitar! Definitely on my list. I believe the Rivolta guitars are made by MIR music Korea where they also make Reverend. Great factory and products. I have a charger 290 and love it.
This review pushed me to buy this guitar and I’m incredibly impressed, so thank you Sir! Just out of curiosity what are your pickup height measurements from string to pickup when fretted at the 24th fret? Thanks again, for the review!
I tried the Combinata and the Mondata at my local dealer (lucky to have one in my small town). I gotta say WOW!!! The Mondata was cool but the Combinata just really rang. Maybe the chambering? It just sounded so good acoustically and was soooo comfortable. The ebony fret board was fantastic. I would have snatched it if I didn't already have an old P-90 Les Paul Special I love. But as soon as they come out with a humbucker version . . . and I think they will shortly . . . I may have to snatch it up.
That color is stunning. Like a real Lady.
And that’s how you do a unboxing. I want the same one.
What style of neck shape does it have? Is it thick? Excellent review. Love your stuff.
Killer review! What do you think the neck feels like? I'm seriously considering this guitar, but I'm worried the C+ neck might be too chunky
Great demo! How do you feel about the nylon saddles? Thanks
I want one of these so bad
Hey man! Great review and playing! Was wondering how much noise do the strings before the bridge make? I've had some annoying resonance from my Jazzmaster and was wondering if this would make a lot of noise as well. Does the guitar feel fragile like a hollow body also?
Thx! Definitely a LOT less resonance than my JM. There’s a little so if you’re playing acoustically in a quiet room you’ll hear it. Otherwise, it’s not an issue imo.
Great review buddy, Amazing guitar. Will you still be doing the king telemaster style build?
Thx! I’ll just say....stay tuned!
Excellent review and playing! Do you find your right hand slams in to that trem arm or is it not really an issue?
Not an issue for me personally. Only “technique” issue I have with trems in general is working the volume and tone knobs. But that’s not particular to this system. I’ll generally resign myself to not using much if any trem if I know I’ll be constantly adjusting.
@@MusicNerdStuff Gotcha, Thanks
It is an incredible guitar! I am looking for a hard case for my Combinata with the Bigsby tremolo. The Rivolta cases are no longer in production. Any recommendations?
I have a Combinata XVII in Adriatic Blue; love it! I'm also looking for a hardcase. If I find anything, I'll post it here.
There’s a lot of Roger Rossmeisl influence in these guitars, really like ….
Roger's why it's called the "German Carve"!
They have a hardtail version as well if that trem isn't your thing
Very supro-ish
Or random, italian guitars in general hehe.
Throw away your tele!
