Ive been following you for a while on UA-cam and love the content! How did you find this type of position?! Also a former teacher but currently working in finance, very interested in getting back into education in some form!☺️

This is probably something I could do an entireeeee video on! But I spent a lot of time on LinkedIn's job listings, Indeed, and I would Google "ed tech jobs" on the regular. LinkedIn isn't as sketchy, but with Indeed or other websites, I would always cross-check the company's website to be sure it's a legit job opening.
With that being said, apply, apply, apply! I applied for my current company multiple times for nearly 2 years before landing an interview. Anytime the same (or similar) position reopened with them or a few other companies, I would apply again. I had no shame. It really just came down to timing. But I especially watched the career pages of edtech or curriculum companies I was familiar with and liked from my teaching days! Best of luck in your search! They're out there and it takes time, but don't give up 🫶🏼
People want to know what your job is, not the unrelated stuff. What does an EdTech rep actually do?
I mean, what I do day to day IS related stuff 😂 But I’m in ed tech sales, so I work with school districts and admin who are looking to purchase PD or licenses.
