Sorry to hear the bad news Steve, wishing you and your family all the very best. As for the reissues, it is very tiring to see the same titles continuously reissued, there is so much great music that never really sees a high quality reissue; particularly 80's and 90's music. The recent high sales for 80's & 90's A75 titles should hopefully prove that there is a real market for these era's. I keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the streams, always very informative.

I'm not as much "fatigued" as I just don't have as much disposable income after the inflation of the last few years so I'm just going to have to be satisfied with the records I have. I'm going to fewer concerts too.

So sorry to hear about your brother in law. That hits close to home. My sister and family are in town and a few days ago my brother in law woke up with his a-fib heartbeat issue acting up so he went to the hospital and is getting better and out today. So scary but at least he's ok. I'm thinking about you!

I just want a Rhino Hi-Fi box set of The Smiths’ full catalog… I mean come on, it’s only 4 albums! And they’ve never been given proper “audiophile” reissues. 😫
‘course, I’d love more than just the main 4 albums because their singles are so iconic too but ya gotta start somewhere! Make it happen, Rhino!

Condolences. Very sad.
Increasingly fatigued. Since I turned my back on MoFi for price value and then business ethics reasons, I allocated my budget more towards AS. Their UHQRs, sitting mostly on my shelf, I find good but not worth the money especially due to the wasted old fash packaging. Esp in Jazz the repeat of titles is fatigueing since there are already so many good rei alternatives at much better price value. Now moving more towards i.e. Impex, Speakers Corner, Cohearant and OGs incl. selective Japanese, and away from boxsets.

Speakers Corner? Horrible. CD versions? Horrible. UHQR horrible.
The only versions to give the original tape justice is the MFSL CD, and the reissue from several years ago. Don’t tell me you don’t hear all the *undecoded* Dolby A noise in the high end on the rest of them? Terrible.

Hoffman loves those MFSL cds' for a reason. Closet to sounding like the master tape.
