I have never carved air dry clay , it seems a bit difficult. I just put the shape in while soft . This is very interesting to me. I loved watching you . Thank you
What a joy to watch, thanku Melita. Its one of the best tutorials I've ever watched, u were slow and explained things as u went, some of us need a lil time to see exactly what your doing😅.. By the way I love the humming 😊 Sooo glad I found you and your channel. I've definatley subscribed and liked, now im going to go look at your other videos 😊❤ Thanks again Kaz from Oz 😊
This is my first video of yours, I love your voice, your art, I went back and watched you cactus video from before, also your nails are so beautiful, thanks for the videos!
It’s hard to find very many videos with air dry clay, I would love to see a video on how to form the shape of the head. Do you use foil in the center ? Or is it all clay? Thank yoh
Is there a reason you choice to carve instead of of just thinning the face when the clay is still wet, just curious. It scares me a bit and looks like one little slip and you could cut yourself . Fantastic video and your work is beautiful
Great question! Since the clay is way t o soft and I'm working in a small scale every time I press a little bit everything moves and I start to lose simetry right since the beginning with makes everything a mess, so I prefer to work just a basic form with fresh clay, and I leave all details for the carving process wich I actually prefer, I know it looks messy & scary but I have more control over the piece I'm working on. Remember that if your modelling process it's not going right there's this second stage for air dry clay which is "carving" and things can be solved here, just wet the clay a bit and the clay will become easy to carve.💚🍀
@@Melitaart I have never done carving and my dolls are so small and faces so little I do not thinking carving is doable. I love you work though. Really great
Hi, actually a long time ago I wanted to start a small biz making BJD dolls but back then I didn't have any confidence to do so, I think I can consider a BJD project for a video... thanks for the imput. 💚ツ゚
I don't know if you guys can actually tolerate such long video, cause in real time I'm slow like a turtle... But lately I'm considering going LIVE, sculpting from scratch, but before I'll be training hard to make it look clear and simple, so whoever wants to try sculpt can have a good and solid foundation... ♥
Lovely work! I hope you consider trimming your nails though. They’re kind of distracting, and not in a good way. Sorry really not trying to be mean, I just think it would be better for the video ❤️
Great comment I hope you consider changing your profile picture though it’s distracting and not in a good way sorry really not trying to be mean I just think it would be better for the comment

Eres muy talentosa, gracias por compartir ❤❤❤
Watching you carve towards your hand makes me so nervous, but this sculpture looks fantastic.

Finally found videos u used your homemade clay sorry for the other comment 😢❤
Hey super nice video! Can you tell me, where do you buy your sculpting tools?
This sculpture is so pretty! Off topic, are those your natural nails? They look so healthy and beautiful

If you watch the video, you can see the foil
Would you say model magic air dry clay would work well? Or would investing in creating my own clay be better?
Thank u for this tutorial..what brand air dry friend.?
where did you get your sculpting tools?
Beautiful work. Would love to see you create a full figure.
8:38 is such an unreal sentence 😭

magnifique !
can you please add a ling to all the tules you used?
thank you great tutorial
Hello can you create a tutorial on how you make the aluminum form for the head?
you just crumple up a ball on top of something long and stiff, like the back of a paint brush. very easy
What brand of clay are you using???
These videos are so precarious haha
You cut towards yourself frequently im scared an accident might happen 😅
Also why don’t you ever cast your figures in resin so you can reproduce them or at least have a more durable copy?
I used to do it, but now since I don't reproduce large quantities I don't do it as often...
I would love to see you sculpt a bjd

Not distracting by any means! The focus is her teaching us how she is making these beautiful sculptures. Be grateful!
