I am at a loss for words. What are you talking about imperfections and it showing all of your mistakes? This is STUNNING!! You are so talented. I hate hearing you put yourself down. This is fantastic, truly. This isn’t just good as a “homemade” piece of art, this is good because it is good!! You really need to acknowledge your work and how amazingly talented you are sweetheart. I could never do this, along with most people. 👏🏻 👏🏻 give yourself the kudos you deserve. ❤❤❤
Going through a tough season (having the worst burnout I've ever felt) your words come like pure medicine to my heart... One should never underestimate the power of kind words😭💚 Thank you so much. Sending you blessings 💕
What a beautiful creation. And all those things you see as 'imperfections' I see as lending more character to the piece. They are definitely not noticeable as a detriment and the little 'marks of the creator' only make it more special. Something mass produce mechanical perfection can't hold a candle to. I just found your channel and look forward to seeing more of your works!
Great piece! Thank you for sharing! Love your accuracy and patience in designing her face expression. Working with air dry clay myself I was always frustrated by waiting til it dries. I've never thought of using a an oven to speed the process (till this video). Can you tell me, what temperature and time do you usually set? Isn't using oven more risky to find cracks afterwards than just waiting for a day till it dries naturally?
Hi, sorry for not replying earlier, I bake my pieces at 120°C for about 1hour, I always let my pieces rest for around 40 minutes before taking it to the oven but meanly small parts such as ears or if I add a thin layer of clay, I always let my first layers my bases to dry naturally for at least 2 days I wouldn't recommend baking your clay on the first stages of your sculpture, to reduce cracks use little water just a bit to keep your clay moisty and workable this has help me tremendously with cracks . Have a nice one🍀tons of blessings 💛
For this one I've used my recipe it's on the description box, but Jovi's air dry clay and DAS are great, easy to sculpt with it I choose mine because it's more resistant.
