@@fearlessgodlikemission6924 wasnt too bad tbh, i was very nervous before hand. But my Careers advisor was chill. asked me quite a few personal questions. Like who i live with, what are my hobbies and interests. Have i ever spent time away from family. (If yes then what did i do, so i went on an NCS trip at college and occasional Scouts & Cadet camping trips) then they asked how did i feel with being away from family and do i find it easy to socialise with others. (Present yourself as being confident because it looks good) Do i take part in social activities such as a football club, or any type of sport group whether thats school/college teams. My interview was very much a discussion to get to know me more on a personal level really. Towards the end he did ask me a few basic questions relating to my branch and the navy in general. Like why did i pick my branch. What reasons i decided to join the navy over the other branches. asked me to name a few bases and training establishments. And give a description as to why the UK has a royal navy and what does the royal navy do. (Prevention of conflict, counter piracy, humanitarian aid and providing secruity at sea) i talked about the recent events aswell with what happened in Beirut that HMS Enterprise provided support and assistance in the situation after the explosion. Another two questions he asked me which i wasnt expecting was, what is the proudest moment of my life. Which i said i made it into the local news paper because i hosted a local football tournament🤣 literally couldnt think of anything else. Then asked me the most embarrassing thing thats ever happened to me. In which i said i tripped over on stage during a school play. (Was a lie cos i literally couldnt think of anything on the spot haha) You will have a discussion about your fitness training. also what the swim test and running test is. So the swim test being a 3m jump in overalls and a 2length swim in under 4mins, then getting out without any help. I did say during this discussion that im not quite meeting the PJFT requirements just yet but my progression has been very noticeable which he then decided at the end of the interview to put my application on hold till im in a more capable state of passing my test. Ultimately if you just prepare for the questions that they should have sent you via email youll be fine. Just make sure you do a tiny bit of research like for example Giving the locations of the training establishments and bases. Feel free to ask anything else and ill try help as mine was very recent so they may be similar interviews 😏 ps what have you applied for?
@@fearlessgodlikemission6924 also i was asked about the drug policy which is absolute zero tolerance to drugs and you will be dismissed from the navy near enough instantly so stay away from it

Are you paid to do these video's off the Royal navy? Also considering what I told about not getting medical discharge or rehab if Injuried in the last year, do you feel guilty of almost advertising the Royal navy and help people join not knowing the truth...? I feel it's my duty to tell the truth so if you join knowing the truth that's fine, as least you have all the cards on the table. Sorry to be blunt shipper's
Answer 1: no I am not getting paid by the navy. I am helping those with the questions they may have been to nervous to ask or forgot to ask when visiting their AFCO. I am sorry for what happened to you and these viewers can feel free to watch your videos if they so desire.

@@carmentraveller3196 you get issued kit in phase 1, I don't remember it being taken away from my wages. But who knows you may be right! If you lose items of your kit then you do normally have to purchase extra and that will be deducted from your wages
Is the army similar to the navy or is army more strict? Thanks for video
I wouldn't know I'm afraid as I have only experienced Naval training and life
@@CallumFrogley true. Another random question but is it weird i feel more nervous about marching than the running😂 I hate attention on myself
@@Owen-wi3jy for the most part you will be marching in a squad. It becomes second nature don't worry :)
@@CallumFrogley ah good should be fine
Ive got my Warefare Specialist - Submariner interview tomorrow! Never been more nervous🤣 luckily my interview is via a webcam call so i might be able to sneak some notes on my wall behind the camera🤣
How did this go I’ve got mine Monday!
(Present yourself as being confident because it looks good)
Do i take part in social activities such as a football club, or any type of sport group whether thats school/college teams.
(Was a lie cos i literally couldnt think of anything on the spot haha)
You will have a discussion about your fitness training. also what the swim test and running test is.
@@fearlessgodlikemission6924 also i was asked about the drug policy which is absolute zero tolerance to drugs and you will be dismissed from the navy near enough instantly so stay away from it
PALMYY that’s awesome bro thank you for replying ! And where do I find such information I’m a newbie to navy but I really need a new way of life ... is the pjft same as the Royal Marines ? And also where did you learn this info based upon the Royal Navy , many thanks bud how old are you too I’m only 20
@@fearlessgodlikemission6924 just go onto the royal navy website and read through the different sections and topics. Im not sure what the royal marines PJFT is but the Royal Navy is a 2.4k run in under 11mins (roughly) I'm 22 🙂
Interview today! One hour to go.
How did it go?
@@HenZoid93 mate, I passed. Flying colours. I have my medical exam in 2 weeks!!
@@fishmiller4281 well done. Got my interview at the end of the month.
@@HenZoid93 you’ll do great, just make sure to revise on all parts of basic training- and stage 2 training. I was very lucky I did. Lol
@@fishmiller4281 I’ll keep that in mind! Thanks
Got my interview in an hour
How did it go?
You talk very fast so I cant always hear what you saying LOL did you say name 5 types of navy ships?
Are you paid to do these video's off the Royal navy?
Also considering what I told about not getting medical discharge or rehab if Injuried in the last year, do you feel guilty of almost advertising the Royal navy and help people join not knowing the truth...?
I feel it's my duty to tell the truth so if you join knowing the truth that's fine, as least you have all the cards on the table.
Sorry to be blunt shipper's
Answer 1: no I am not getting paid by the navy. I am helping those with the questions they may have been to nervous to ask or forgot to ask when visiting their AFCO.
Answer 2: I do not feel guilty for anything because I am giving everything from what I have experienced.
I am sorry for what happened to you and these viewers can feel free to watch your videos if they so desire.
@@CallumFrogley honest reply thanks
Like I said, get landed if you in your final year, and tell others the same,
I'm fighting for change with the government/MoD
A storm is brewing and I can hear the thunder, only today I uncovered the PHSO have power's they didn't know they had but they have told god knows how many people they cannot help when they can,
Shockwaves.. today and I feel happy I'm making a difference to protect you lads/lasses still in and while still attempting to gain justice to those who the MoD failed
Thanks again
