I've never been so happy after watching a UA-cam video! I have a 4 month old husky and he's the happiest and most energetic pup I've ever seen. One of my friends sent me a video this morning about "Why you shouldn't keep a husky in India". I was terrified after watching it and considered myself as a selfish person. But thanks to you for bringing up the brighter picture. You made very valid points and to add to it, there's a concept called "epigenetics" (when your environmental conditions impact your genes/DNA to adapt to the prevailing conditions). And that is one of the ways in which new species evolve. Being a biologist myself, I wonder how can I simply take such negative videos at their face value!

@@arjunverma4675 mostly chicken, kabhi-kabhi fish, boiled vegetables, rice, dahi, ghee/coconut oil, etc. wheat based diet avoid karna initially and no packed food/dog food but you can give him calcium and multivitamin supplements jab fish/chicken nahi khila rahe.

I've got a husky in delhi , and let me tell you , he's the most energetic and fit dog in my entire area , extremely playful , and yesss their stamina is superb , I take him for 7-8km run both in the morning and evening, everyday.As for the survival part ,it's about the kind of care you give to your dog, if you don't take care of your dog , don't feed well , there's no way your dog will be happy . If you take good care and love your dog , he'll be the happiest doggo ever .

I had 2 huskies but one wasn't happy and doctor told that his coat is way thick. The other husky is just too happy. Unfortunately we had to give the other husky to someone else because huskies hair grow really fast . Miss it really much😭😭😭

A person whom I know personally in Hyderabad has just celebrated 13th birthday of his Siberian Husky. Even I own husky and he is full of energy.
I live in 100+ year old house. my house's wall is 30 inches wide, very cold inside our home, I own a husky too and no ac in our house.

@@yamunabp9496 if you are staying in dry areas where temperature gets beyond 32-35 in summer season. I'd suggest to have AC or atleast cooler.

Polar bear is not a domesticated animal but a dog is! Global warming ki wajah se Canada mein bhi temperature rise hua hain. Even humans are not build to survive in extreme weather but aren't they surviving?

He is doing fine.
You just need to keep your husky in AC or in 25-30 degree room for a few hours at noon.
He is very energetic in the morning and after the evening on summer days.

Bro don't spread nonsense huskies can live anywhere it's a fact. I'm a friend of one of the husky owner who lives in Hyderabad 🔥. He told me that there's no problem in breeding them or caring them. He have two little huskies 🔥

In my neighborhood one brown husky is there name Luno his hairs are shed that's why he looks like the dog you showed. It happens only when a husky gets in contact with heat in summers.

Hi bhaiya, Himachal, uttarakhand ghumne ke baad mereko vha ka Gaddi/Bhotia dog bahut accha laga. mei usko purchase karna chahta hun. Lekin kuch log youtube par bol rhe hai ki vo breed keval vhi Himachal, uttarakhand mai hi rkhna chaahiye because of temperature issue. Kya unko mai apne jaipur rajasthan mai rakh sakt hu. vese bhi ghar mai cooler AC toh rehta hi hai. Aur mene abhi tak koi pet nhi rakha hai toh kya ye shi rhega?

Your point is people say that keeping huskies in India is a torture, but husky owners install ACs in their house and take their huskies on hours long walk before sunrise and after sunset. You are assuming that everyone who has a husky does that, but it is not the case. Most people don't do hours long walk with their huskies, most people don't have enough space for their huskies to run freely. They keep them in just one room most of the day, and take them for a walk for 30 minutes or so.
Also, what you explained about the coat of huskies is not correct if you are talking about huskies in India. Yes they get an undercoat in winter to keep them warm and shed it in summers, but think about it are winters in most of India cold enough for that undercoat?
Things exist in nature for a reason. If dog breeds with thick coats could easily live in places like Rajasthan, Haryana, Hyderabad, etc then wouldn't local breeds there have an undercoat for winters too?
The easiest way to check if a dog can live a comfortable life in a part of India is to see what the local dogs there are like. There are places in India like the north east, uttarakhand, himachal, j&k, Tibet where the local dogs have thick coats. This means that even a foreign breed with the same characteristics can live there comfortably. This is not the case with most of India.
And giving examples like look these people have husky in places with warm climate and they are happy doesn't really prove anything because if there are some examples like that then there are more examples of people mistreating their huskies. Maybe these people in your example are exceptionally good at taking care of their huskies, you have to understand that most people are not like that. Most people don't have enough space in their house, time in their life and money to take care of a husky or any other breeds like it.
I don't know the other person you are targeting, but as much as I know the guy from himalyan husky has never said that you shouldn't keep huskies anywhere in India. He just says that you shouldn't keep them in places with warm climate. He has mentioned it multiple times that even though his hometown is colder than most of India and it snows there still his husky feels uncomfortable in summers.
