I'm a wheelchair user and I've never been to Hawaii. Please keep updating us on places that are wheelchair friendly. I would love to visit. I'm hesitant because there appears to be so much rough terrain and not enough pavements.

I have travelled to Hawaii and last trip was with a friend that's in a wheelchair and Maui was extremely accessible and the staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to help in anyway they could.
Nice condo! I like this side of the island for the sunsets, plus close to Lahaina and Kapalua. Lots to do around this town. Kanapali has some beachfront/Ocean view WC accessible condos, too. Several grocery stores nearby. Well done. Aloha.
Man I really liked the doors to the bed you slept on, very japanese styling, and fitting since there are a lot of Japanese influence in Hawaii. that place looks great, if/when I get to Hawaii someday I'll have to find a place like that

I’m going to Maui in a few weeks and my cousins would not let me rent a wheelchair accessible condo. She was adamant about having a kitchen instead of allowing me to be comfortable.
@@zackcollie3364 I do get the kind of spasms where my legs/feet kick straight out. They are violent at times! I don't usually get the type where they just bounce on the footrest.

You're so right about the "putting on a brave face" part. As a disabled guy too, it's almost like second nature now.
Haha, I rented this exact condo a few years back. It was great for me also being a t10 and fam liked there was a pool close by.

I have really bad spasms. The strap is there to keep my feet from kicking out
