WOW I've been a Flaming Lips fan for years and also a big Scott Weiland fan, this version is like a dream come true. Hats off to him....absolutely gorgeous rendition of an amazingly deep and different song, unlike the crappy Iron & Wine version, they should have tried way way harder!!!!
Another year or 2 of touring, and his voice will get it's industrial quality back again.... It's already a major improvement over the VR days. The years of screaming have done their damage, and will take some time to heal. Saw him last year, and have tickets to see him again in less than a month, I can't wait.
@SantVel awwww come one, the iron & wine version was amazing, just a different take on the song. in my opinion, this version totally misses the mood the song is meant to capture........i like weiland but this isn't what the song was about.......iron & wine did their own thing with it but still maintained the somberness and mood of the original. this is like a pop version.
