Nice! I've been wanting to do something similar since buying two of these helmets over a year ago... but I can't get the thing apart! HOW did you dismantle it back onto 3 pieces please?
Here’s how I disassembled it successfully: 1. Remove the top dome. The dome piece has four or five tabs depending on the version. These tabs are wedge-shaped and can be removed by pressing inward and pulling the parts apart at the right locations. For the dome, start at the back. There are two tabs, each a few inches away from the back center press inward on the dome with one hand while pressing outward on the inner side of the lower helmet section up near the tab. It will barely give way. Then move to the second rear tab and do the same thing. The first tab will want to slip back in so watch out for that. Once those two are out, move to the same relative locations on the front side and repeat. If you have a fifth tab it’s in the center. That one is last. 2. Separate the two lower halves. Note that the rear section tabs are toward the upper edge, and the front section tabs are toward the lower edge. Press inward on the upper edge of the rear section and pull outward on the upper edge of the front section to remove the upper tabs. Then reverse it for the lower edge.
I ordered one of those , advertised as a black series..On Facebook found out it was a Chinese hacking site they sent a cheap latex rubber piece of sxxx,. They would only give me less than half the money back...Still reported them to face book and sold the crap on...
Just goes to show how a bit of paint makes these things look so much nicer

It takes it from a toy to a prop pretty instantly. Id have to loose the battery plate though. Which then creates a lot more work with full respray.

C7TV a bit of force and swearing 🤣 but yeah just work at it, may need to pry where the tabs are with a screwdriver

Can you please tell me how you disassemble the helmet back into three parts?
It required quite a bit or force I think. You have to push out the locked tabs too

sold my black series helmets.. and I now I own a screen accurate ANH from RS Propmasters.. much much better
