Practically everything here can be accomplished in vanilla Arma. The only mods I made use of (which seldom appear in the video) are effects and sound based, 'cept the chicken - that's done by SLX wounds. Oh yeah, and the zombie. He's from Undead mod.
The crazy vehicles are built in the editor using the AttachTo command.

Agreed btw look up Esims and DSC one is a actual tank sim used by some EU miitary and they sell a civilian version tho it costs over a $100 but again very realistic. And DSC makes excellent flight sims. Tho as a current UH60 driver every simulator is harder than the real thing well until we get real virtual reality that is haha.

This is really best game , I played the original ARMA & there was a mission where you were supposed to be captured in jungle but I ran away like coward & reached a city from where I stole a car, killed 5-6 Russian soldiers & got RPG then I destroyed a russian tank with it & after doing all the fun stuff in battlefield i eventually got killed 😂😂😂😂

Heh. let me show you how battlefield is not best in ANY of those categories. Minecraft has better destructible environment. Sniper elite has perfect bullet drops. Boat simulator 2013 has the most realistic boats in any game in history. Ummm... Even CoD has tanks... Apache allows two players controlling different aspects of the helicopter. The jet part is just silly. motorcycles are in GTA, ammo boxes in EVERY FPS. defibrillators appear in L4D, and nothing beats the graphics of Crysis 3
I remember i played arma 2 for 2 years and it was the best game i have ever played and probably will remain my number one as years go by. Its a shame that this game is dying slowly, its still playable but its not what it used to be. Especially with servers like deadcell taking out helicopters but keeping tanks because i guess 2 mini-guns are more powerful than he rounds.... Which is just not true. Also far less people could use the choppers effectively so i think deadcell is just fucking stupid.
Coming from 2018 Arma 3, srsly one of my friends literaly quited the game after he bought it. Because he didn't how to reload weapon magazines properly.

Not really. You can use the Arma 2 content within the Arma 3 engine. Parts are likely to be very buggy but I wouldn't be surprised if some intrepid modders made a supported Arma 2 content pack.
this is my fav game i just love playing with ppl online, community is awsome, im pissed off i cant play it anymore because microsoft dont support windows vista anymore and it will be a while till i get another good desktop, and and good one to play this on is expensive

There's one way to test if someone's a gamer for the game or graphics: put them in front of a good classic MUD game and see how long it takes them to 'complete' the game (I quote that word for reasons some may know, some won't) if they even manage to spend longer than 10 minutes on it at all. I'm 24 and MUDs were even before my time but I still love the concept, gameplay and feel for adventure they offer nonetheless.
as a matter of fact i belive you have correct in that.. well can't argue to much that the incress of players and money are not a motivation for the creation of arma 3.. i belive it playes a role in how awesome arma 3 turns out even though it might be littel, still worth it, right =).. maybe is just that the rateings just made some of the developers have a good day wen it was needed =D

i don't think is to much about the series being in a danger but dayZ got the ArmA 2 to go up with a 500% sales rate.. witch i belive has much to do with the fact arma 3 is coming out =)

I agree with BF4 having better graphics, but it's not a simulator. A Simulator simulates real life. Granted Arma isn't even close to real life it is the most realistic military game there is.
Also i think the Arma 2 Is HUGE Graphics engine due the open-world style map... also the lag can be abit killed by lowering the view distance to less than 2000 :) or even less .-.

You say probably 3-4 shots! even though i dont play arma 2 because of my type of computer. I watch vids all the time! You can kill anybody easily and real in maybe 2 shots to the torso and down! 1 shot kill with a sniper any where above! You got no idea what your talking about! I play Bf3 and it is no where close to the skill of arma or anything at such. If you get shot in the leg in bf3 nothing happens u just lose health! In arma 2 you actually can break your legs! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT ARMA 2 IS

You never seem to understand. There are factors that are involved in real war such as stamina, training, control, and good planning. Battlefield 3 barley has any of that. Call of Duty and Battlefield 3 are both a bag of poop compared to Armed Assault.

Well, the engine for this game is used in a military training tool called VBS2. The games are very similar in terms of their gameplay, so I'd say Arma 2 is a good battle simulator.

Arma is a simulator, bf3 is in some ways realistic like the sniping, CoD is just run and gun take 3 pistol head shots and so on. CoD and BF3 are fps arma is the simulator

Lol i dont care about Cod duty because i already know the BF3 is better then cod but i also know that ARMA is far more superior to BF3 and COD. In arma the vast majority of organised event have between 150-200 Players in a single game. i have never heard of a BF3 Round having more the 100.
Those event can depending on what type of mission it is can have for example. 100 Infantry aswell as 10 Tanks with CAS and thats 3 people per tanks and 1-2 people per Aircraft. You simple cannot beat ARMA
Lets get this straight, I have played Call of duty, BF3 and some of the Original Arma games aswell as seeing enough footage on youtube of Arma. The Arma Series of games is far more realistic then all of the major FPS games. For example in BF3 it takes more then one shoot to get a kill unless you hit them in the head, in Arma if you hit them in the chest it can be a one shoot. The maps in Arma are massive compared to the majority of BF3 maps. And no BF3 is not a Mil Sim its a normal FPS
Your mom failed. You said that because Arma 2 Combined Operations has way more content, DLCs and better mods. Arma 3 is not even in final release, 3 patches are comming with a campaign more vehicles and weapons. And btw Arma 2 combined operations contains 2 games(Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead).

Oh really? You get blown up by a Vikhr12 or a AGM114 Hellfire anti tank rocket and you get "revived" by defibs. Jets fly at 300-400km/h. Jets seem to have armed AA/ATGM/Unguided rockets but can use only one at a time. Blow torch repairs a burning tank. Russians have M16A3. Blue camo. C4 does barely damage anything. 4 shots with an Assault rifle to kill someone. Snipers with the same catridge as GPMGs do twice damage than the GMPGs. Javelin can turn on a pin point. Smoke immediatly pops.
This is probably one of the worst games ive ever played, and I really wanted to like it. People always try to give some explanation like "its a simulator its not meant to be like battlefield" fuck that, this game is bad. terrible clunky controls, RIDICULOUSLY oversized map, endless walking just to be shot by enemies u cant see, broken AI, akward vehicle handling.
they did not put anywhere near enough polish in this. seriously playing this online almost drove me insane. i really pray for arma3.
