Making Wahoo Stickbaits Part 4 Painting Base Coats and Adding Scales

This video is one in a series about how I make Wahoo Stickbaits. This specific video shows how I apply 3 base coats of oil based paint to the lure and then apply aluminum tape to make the scales. The lures featured in these videos are for casting. Target weights are usually below 150g. Although 5 of the 8 lures featured are designed to be level floating type, 3 are designed to be fast sinkers. These lures can also be used for catching tuna.
