Wow, watching you guys explore a woodland from my neck of the woods was wild! I can't believe you were there 😍 I was born and bred in South Devon and lived there for most of my live until I moved a few years ago. Thankyou so much for making such a beautiful, respectful and informative video about this enchanted woodland. I loved it there and this was a beautiful trip down memory lane reminding me if times I visited there myself. It has a certain 'feeling' about it that can't be captured in photos. Your footage was gorgeous though. I hope you enjoyed your time in Devon🌿🖤
🙌 That was heart-achingly beautiful, particcularly to moss-lovers such as myself. It might even be alternately called, “Wistful Wood”. What species of tree populate that wood? From the gnarled, epiphyte covered branches, my guess is some kind of Oak. Your stunning imagery made my whole day… thanks!
This is so exciting you went, I've heard so much about Wistman's Wood and the lore of the supernatural creatures there! I find the mythology so interesting and it looks like such an eerie, otherworldly place, I even did a painting of The Wild Hunt in there! Apparently all of Dartmoor has a lot of supernatural legends. I hope one day I'll be able to see it for myself! Also, Jessica looks very ghostly in the white dress, like maybe a spooky fairy or banshee in the wood!
That mossy forest reminds me of my grandpas yard .I will have to show the picture sometime so you can see the resemblance.Great vid again and cool to see a wee bit of Scotland.

Hi Michael and Jessica I live in Torquay, would have been great to have met you. Dartmoor is an amazing place. My husband passed recently but we spent many magical days on Dartmoor, it was our happy place and made us feel like we were the only people on Earth when no one else was around. Beautiful , eerie Dartmoor no place like it. Thank you Michael and Jessica for a perfect video. Love your channel ❤.
How absolutely beautiful! It’s amazing to think the natural wonders like this existing in this world today almost frozen in time…the mood music really helped the vibe as well. Watching this felt so peaceful and magical! Thank you Grimm life for these videos sincerely! ❤
Reminds me of the dark forest depicted in Disney's 1939 classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. When Snow White escapes into the woods and it seems to come alive.
It's beautiful and so peaceful. Jessica just so you know I love the movie Stardust as well, but never read the book. Thanks for another magical video guys. Speaking about fairies there is a spot in the big park in my hometown Toronto Canada in the Beaches area that has little doors in the trees that are said the fairies live. I never saw any, but hay you never know what happens at night when no one is there haha just kidding, but still, it's cute to see them and the idea behind it as well. Watching this all I can think of is the movie Willow for some reason and one of my favorite band's songs called Elevenpath.
Such a beautiful forest, it just feels different, magical that feeling is. You just think of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland and the Spiderwick Chronicles. But 13:00 also feels like Wuthering Heights. Thank you for creating another amazing video.
Found your channel about 4 months ago. I love your vids. And your choice of music with your vids are breath-taking! Thank you both for sharing your lives with us.
Seeing Jessica in that vintage style dress, with the background music..was the best part..the forest is truely enchanted, magical and like Michael said, the foggy effect would have been totally breathtaking spooky, but Jessica topped that,it was like she was in her own realm,it was her time to shine and beautifully she did 😊... this was a amazing video and the way u tell the history, the story and add ur own flare to it,is awesome...
The oldest oaks appear to be 400-500 years old, and originated within a degenerating oakwood that survived in scrub form during two centuries of cold climate. In c. 1620, these old trees were described as "no taller than a man may touch to top with his head".The wood is home to the incredibly rare Horsehair lichen (Bryoria smithii) which is found at only two sites in Britain.
I love how you guys make your videos flow so seamlessly! You guys work together so well! ❤ I love your dress Jessica, it makes you look witchy! Happy Halloween 👻

I would LOVE to camp overnight there!!!!
You guys are amazing so thank you for showing us this.

WHOLE LOTS OF CREEPY BEAUTIFUL . THANK YOU BOTH ! ❤
Beautifully filmed, thank you, Michael and Jessica :)
My great great great grandparents was from England
You two are so cool the way you respect every place you visit.
Thank you

What a beautiful setting and Jessica looked gorgeous in her dress.💚
Such a beautiful forest, it just feels different, magical that feeling is. You just think of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland and the Spiderwick Chronicles. But 13:00 also feels like Wuthering Heights. Thank you for creating another amazing video.
Found your channel about 4 months ago. I love your vids. And your choice of music with your vids are breath-taking! Thank you both for sharing your lives with us.
And Our Beautiful Jessica leading the way! Britain at its Best! Vacant and Quiet!
