Two things come to mind after this episode: 1. I'm going to be so sad when this is over, it's been over a year now tuning in every Sunday, and its a joy watching you experience this as you have voiced a lot of the thinking we hope players are going through when they hit certain story beats. 2. I'm terrified you are going to run into some catastrophic bug during the finale as it is an immensely complicated series of events... but can't wait to see your reaction to it all!
We love your work so far it feels like a True Addition to Fallout 4 that Bethesda should of added on to instead of the usual "pick your faction to win with" method they took from Obsidian with New Vegas not to mention the classic failed family member hunt
I've been playing along at home, I'm a fair bit behind Jon as I'm just doing the first few supply agreements for the HQ, but I've had such a brilliant time so far. Thank you, and thanks to all those involved in creating this wonderful experience. Is there somewhere people can donate to you or the team? I know it popped up when I first downloaded the mod but I couldn't at the time.
Mayor Bob and Perception 1 Jon still not noticing in the Endgame that he hasn't taken any ammo, weapons, or armor off corpses he's made and put them into the War Chest so that his army can have supplies and better gear for the final assault is a fantastic thing to watch. He's become the one friend who solo carries the rest of the noob team in Raids and questions why they're still noobs, never change.
Not gonna lie, I’m feeling a bit sad as I know the end of the series is close at hand. John I just want to say thanks for series it has been a cocking good time watch.
@@ManyATrueNerd Question is, what Fallout content do you make next? I like some of the other games youve done like stellaris, but Fallout is where my heart is and hope to see more in the future
Jon, before the end, place a 3x3 recreational plot and build the Wasteland Theatre. The several acts that wander in are quite humorous, and Mayor Bob deserves a troupe of wandering minstrels and fools!
Jon, you saw and even read the words "Star Paladin". I'm quite surprised you didn't recognise the Brotherhood of Steel. Also when you were in the steeple the shot caught on the edge of the platform you were on, so you managed to injure yourself.
So Jon is going to rain down destruction on the moon. Pretty sure this is how Skies of Arcadia was created. Good work Jon your favourite games are all connected thanks to you.
"I should only do missions during the day, because the Moon isn't watching then". Jon, you should specifically do missions at night, since that's when you are getting several SPECIAL points of bonuses.
Very fun episode to watch! Since you have already done assigning the personal for the final battle, it won't be a spoiler to share some info about 'the best' choices for some roles among the groups that are currently supporting you, based on my experience: 1. Defense Team: Sickle is the BEST option for defense among all the groups that have either showed up or not, so he's the BEST OF ALL. You will get the best evaluation from Salvador and the best outcome from the battle, in terms of defense. 2. Air Support: BOS without a question, the same as what you've chosen 3: Mission Support: Nightingales, again the BEST OF ALL, but HQ is not bad either, iirc HQ is probably one tier lower than Nightingales so you should be fine. *NLTC is a very special addition to this battle. They are the only group that doesn't support you 'for free' and iirc, they can be the 2nd best option for any role. So if there's a role that you don't have any group that can get the job done decently, you can pick them. I won't comment on the rest since those groups didn't show up which would make it a spoiler. Overall you have a little shortage on the personal for this meeting, 7 possible groups for 7 roles, not much leeway room. In all my playthroughs I've always had 10+ groups showing up, so it will be very interesting to see how your battle turning out haha. Looking forward to your next episode!😃
@@mralberosie3987 Sure thing! Although this is purely based on my personal experience. For some roles there can be other groups that are just as good but I don't know about yet, so you may want to make a save before the final mission. *Spoilers alert* so stop here if you still want to figure things out by yourself: 1. Strike Team: Berman, if he remains alive after the battle of GNN 2. Tech Team: The Institute, for obvious reasons 3. Ranged Support: The Minutemen, for obvious reasons 4. Infiltration: Wise, if you've made an alliance with him at the entrance of Vault 75, during the quest 'Runners and Gunners'; the Railroad can be as good or one tier lower than Wise which I am not sure about. Enjoy!😀
Yet another episode of Jon blowing up his own troops, as well as himself. This series has been memorable for many reasons, but mainly for all of the friendly fire incidents. I feel this series should be renamed to "How not to use....explosive weapons".
Calling it now -- the reason the Gunners cannot have that final tape is because that tape is Magnusson himself -- the one who has been talking to you, that is. I guess we'll see when Mayor of Murder Bob and his scrub noobs he has never properly outfitted try to take Quincy! Congrats on reaching the endgame, Bob, now TRY NOT TO TURN YOUR OWN TROOPS AGAINST YOU for a change. XD
I never imagined the mod offered this much content and it was awesome to watch Mayor Bob's adventure through it all. I can't believe this series has gotten longer than the epic Fallout 4: YOLO. At this point, the mod could be called Many A True Settlements _(2)._
REason he doesnt have any higher tier troops is cause he never 'ordered' any fro the radio, like ever. He could have bought some brotherood knights and stuff...but he Never interacted with the mechanic. gah!!!
There's also a reason why his troops basically consist of settlers with pipe weapons, he never gave them anything better. I feel there are a few of the SS2 systems he hasn't touched, and that is definitely one of them.
@@wolfen210959 You can let them level up their ranks to get better gear, or yeah manaully give them 'kits' putting stuff in the war chest doesnt give them to your troops it jsut maek numbers go up.
I've been noting funny parallels between Sim Settlements and Skies of Arcadia- mostly because I've been watching them back to back, but it's really come together with, once again, the moon did it.
A few weeks ago I joked that SS2 is basically Skies of Arcadia because the real treasure is the friends you made along the journey. And then THE MOON. I rest my case. The moon did it.
It's too bad you couldn't bring every faction in the game to bear on this assault. Having everyone join in the defense of their shared homeland might lead to an actually satisfying ending instead of the base game's "kill all but one group of xenophobes and enjoy the all-you-can-rue guilt buffet"

They would of been a good help for artillery support sure he mentioned it and is embarrassed about it but could they coexist with the brotherhood?
The minutemen ending specifically allows both the BoS and the Railroad to be present in the game after the institute is destroyed. There is a guide to the steps required floating about on the internet, and it isn't particularly complicated, as it lists the quests to follow, and the best order to do them in.
Your videos got me to finally try Sim Settlements 2, but with all the crashes and freezes I just had to take a break because it was getting too aggravating.
