Haha yes, always amazing to see what Kevin can do on the limit! 265km/h through the Foxhole here, right after turning the wipers on, is pretty breathtaking!
That’s a pretty much about as hot a lap you’re going to get for a passenger ride, those new tyres really did need scrubbing to get the grip in them initially, he was turning the wheel and nothing was happening to start with! I would love that experience, although I’d be sh##ing myself the entire lap….he was probably at about 80% pace there, amazing to think of it going even quicker.
My 992 GT3 RS is GT Silver Metallic (as is my GT4 RS). From the thumbnail, this one looks like Dolomite Silver Metallic, like my 992 GT3 (manual). I love it...hint of icy blue in it. I initially spec'd my 992 GT3 RS with Azurro Thetys Metallic, but Porsche got backlogged on PTS and I didn’t want to wait several more months.
Nice, this car is in fact Azzurro Thetys Metallic, with Weissach package / carbon cage, optional yellow stitching, and multiple sets of black and silver wheels for the day.
@andrewhurstcars Awesome, yeah, I could it had some blue in it...but hard to tell the exact color from the thumbnail. Mine has all of the boxes checked as well...and yellow seatbelts. I just finished taking it for a drive about an hour ago. 🤘🏻
@@damachine3 cool, enjoy! GT Silver Metallic is a very smart colour, and it will always have that link to the Carrera GT. There are more photos of this RS on my Instagram if you want to see others - same handle as here @andrewhurstcars
Such an incredible and talented driver. Is the 992 GT3RS used here a "development car" and in the video 5 years ago with the 991.2 lap was that also a development car?
@@andrewhurstcars Oh I thought Porsche owned the cars with the "SG:" number plates as the S stands for Stuttgart. Are these cars "stock" like production line cars or do they have "Porsche Voodoo" secrets?
@@jayliwela6402 yes the Porsche Germany press cars always have the ‘S-GO’ numberplates. S is for Stuttgart and GO is for ‘Geschäftsbereich Oeffentlichkeitsarbeit’ which basically means press/PR division. The development cars however are from Weissach, so have the BB numberplates, being in Böblingen.
@@onepairgames of course 👍🏻 but joking aside I did actually have to wait that long to do another lap to give others a chance :) Keep an eye on Kevin’s instagram, you’ve just missed this year’s laps. It sells out in 20 mins so you have to be very quick to email him once it is announced! There is also an extra place in a raffle, so keep an eye out for that
Nice video✌️ Loved you last one with Kevin on a dry NBR🚀 I guess its no idé to overide dynamic DRS in these conditions. (It looks like the wings is in maximum downfore all the time) If full dry I guess full downforce is not in need on meny fast sections. For instance kesselchen Kevin would do flat in low downforce mode (DRS) to gain vmax up that section (and some other sections)
@@andrewhurstcars Thanks..That's exactly what I reacted to that it doesn't seem to work. Because in the car's display it is clearly visible when DRS is engaged. Usually it lights up in green with the text DRS active when the car goes into low aero. Here its only orange and you see it all time (hence wing is up full aero all lap?)
@@captainunknownit’s a Porsche development car so not fully customer spec. Look at photos of the car on my Instagram page, same handle, and you can see the wing fully open in the car park.

265km/h through the Foxhole on this lap - pretty unbelievable! 🚀💨
whice time to find it pls
Lucky bastard! I keep missing to get on the list by a few minutes 😂

@@andrewhurstcarscommitment wasn't lacking on that lap, very nice to watch someone willing to chuck it in so to speak. Very talented driver👌

No words we love Kevin is best of the drivers and skills just respect.
Absolutely awesome Andrew!! Good to see you back with Kevin. So much more input into this than the last video. Just stunning 🤜
Thanks for watching Peter!
Five years passed.. Time flies.
Yes, and first time Kevin has taken the 992 GT3 RS on track!
Agree

Amazing Kevin is the best, ran my GT3RS in around there in September 7000rpm limit !
Yes he is, an amazing experience on the Nordschleife! Nice one Alistair 👍🏻

Mega Video Andrew

Easy 7:10 BTG 😂 Kevin is the Best😊
He is - and that was in 10 degrees with rain, would have been a fair bit faster on a warm, dry day!
cool to see how he forces temp for the front tires
Yes they needed some warming up from cold, plus it was only about 10 degrees c!

@@andrewhurstcars See you and Kevin again in a 992 GT2 RS, which hopefully take the record back from the AMG One ;)
@@loveobd628 that would be great, but Kevin has so far stuck to the GT3 RS for charity lap days.
That must have been fun! Do you know the settings he used for suspension (compression/rebound), PTV+, ESC/TC?
Absolutely, awesome fun - an amazing experience! Yes, -1 for compression and +3 for rebound on my lap. ESC off.
I'd be puckered the entire lap. Kevin knows how to push those cars at the limit around that place. Lol
