You are right, but since he's been playing his whole life he should be really good.
I think one of the things that also helps Hikaru is that people slow down when they realize they have an advantage against him.
Its like "Oh I'm beating Hikaru, let me press the advantage what's the best move here". Them slowing down and searching for the better moves allows him to cheese them on time and flag even if they do find the best move and have an advantage
that tactic is outside of the chess game and not have yet exploited until 1883 LOL

@@sk818factory5 if by middle school you mean 5th to 6th grade that is relatively late to start learning chess and unless you had a good coach and heavy tournament opportunities it's unlikely you'd become professional

Simply put, naka does not have what it takes to be world champion. When he could have qualified last time, he bet that magnus was lying and that he would be playing it, therefore a win or draw was the same, this attitude is what i'm talking about when i say it doesn't have what it takes, it's the exact same thing for radjabov and wang hao who refused to participate in candidate in covid time, let me tell you that people who really wants to be world champion well, those who have a chance anyway, they have been playing all their life for it, there's no greater achievment, most would die for it, clearly naka, radja, and wang Ha are not ready to give their life away for it, it's what separate true champion and streamer.
I mean 8 years ago naka was claiming to be the only one who could beat magnus in WCC and he thinks he is top 15 best players of all time despite having achieved nothing, he hasn't won any strong major tournament (US championship doesn't count), he can't get WC in blitz or rapid, he has not dominated the field like magnus/capa/fischer/kaspi did, he has nothing to back up such claim, the same way he has nothing to be WCC. Naka is a delusional person when it comes to talk about his chess carreer and comparing with others.

As chess has not been ' solved' even the best engine cannot be perfect so humans have no chance. With quantum computers and human enhancements it could be possible in the future but watching draw after draw it would be incredibly boring!

Well, chess isn't solved in the sense that factually speaking we don't know, but it's solved in a way where nobody thinks that white can win from the first move with perfect play from black. If chess was such that white plays and wins from first move, we would have spotted it, it's rather because it's a draw with perfect play that it's not solved yet. With that in mind, quantum computers are not going to do achieve anything useful, ok you can generate endgame tablebase with 8-9-10 pieces left maybe but that's not solving chess.
The draw vs draw thing you're talking about is already in places in many cases, humans at the top level have learned how to draw in certain opening, certains position, they just don't know how to do it yet from all the other positions (engines also don't know). So, basically solving chess is never going to happen, but slowly but surely, we will know about how to draw in any position, not how to win in any position
