“If it dies on you then it’s not worth having!”🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 I really like you! Hahaha!
Enjoyed watching. Where are you from?
I keep used dryer sheets, to place in the bottom of my pots, to prevent the soil from coming out. Then I usually put an inch or so of pebbles on top of the dryer sheet for extra drainage. Save your used dryer sheets in an empty square tissue box (keep on top of the dryer) and always have a supply to use when potting up your plants! Thanks for the interesting videos and love your budgie! kristi
Great idea Kristi. Thanks for watching.
I wonder if this also helps with pests as well? I've heard of people carrying dryer sheets in their pockets because bugs supposedly don't care for the smell.
I used to worry a lot when i plant newly bought succulents, worried about when to water, sunlight exposure. And then you said in one of your videos, i cant remember whether in this channel or your old one: Let them be plants. If you want sturdier plants, expose them to the elements, growing succulents became less stressful and i had lesser casualties. Daghang salamat Miss Liz.
Walang anuman miss Adelyn. Enjoy your babies.
You're such a good teacher!! I just love your channel. My favorite to watch for sure, but what Ive learned from you is PRICELESS!!! You've helped me be less fearful of succulents and to really pay attention to each individual plant. When I finally figured out that the leaves will tell me when they want water... GAME CHANGER!!! I STOPPED KILLING THEM. I really killed alot too bc the are almost the opposite to houseplants and gardening. I'll never forget my first succulent was a Titanopsis and I pulled it out of the pot and pulled around at the roots bc it looked root bound then I drenched it with water and left it out in scorching sun and rain. Needless to say root rot in no time. I didnt realize I was tearing the roots and I needed to let them heal before I watered it. Once again, I am so thankful to have stumpled across whats now my most favorite personality on You Tube!! Your time and efforts to teach others is so appreciated and if you don't hear it enough, hear it from me, THANK YOU!!
Thank you, Liz. You're funny, smart, and a wonderful educator. I'm a retired teacher and I know! I've learned oodles about succulents from your channel.
You are so welcome, Susan! Thanks for watching.
I just love your videos!
I learned so much tonight watching your video - potting up & ‘reviving’ new & dry babies. Great info and I love how much you love your succulents. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! ☺ Thank you for watching.
I’m glad I’m refreshing my memory about repotting . I haven’t been giving them a seaweed treatment . They look like they really like it🌿
I found the correct page for caring about my succulents.... Thank you so much. My search is finished 😍
Wonderful! Thanks for watching.
Really excellent information and instructions. I was surprised when you said, (26:30) , that the newly planted Echeveria had been soaking for seven days. That’s a length of time that I would have thought ran the risk of rotting the plants......... but it worked! Succulents are full of surprises.
Yes im amazed by that too.
I had to rewatch that part making sure i saw it correctly
Thank you so much! I'm a novice and just got my first plants! So excited and I'm really thankful that I found your channel! I love listening to you teach and talk! You have a fun and passionate yet easy going energy that comes out in your videos that just lights up my day!😊💕🌵🌸🌵🏵🌿🌸

After watching this, I see how we didn’t plant ours like you did. We got soil on the leaves and those leaves are dying.

Liz I love your experiments! That solution is amazing - I have to see if we have something like this here in the US...
As long as it has Seaweed extract with worm juice or compost; should do the trick.

Hi 👋
I’m totally new to succulents but have done my research more so after me getting my babies. I got an Ebony ech. & used glass pieces to surround her and she’s going really well now. I’ve had my new plants for like 2-3 months now. Thank you for all the knowledge ✨🌵
Ebony is one of my favorite succulents. Thanks very much for watching and wishing you all the very best with your new babies. 🥰

Love it !
Thanks for watching Eve.
I just found your channel and subscribed immediately! Now I know what to do when I receive succulents that I've purchased with little to no roots. Especially the rare ones from Korea where the roots have to be cut down (Barbaric) in order for them to pass into the USA. Your tips and care are PRICELESS!! I struggle with my succulents showing their beautiful colors. They are all green, so I know I'm doing something wrong 😕 I know I'm going to learn a lot from you, and become a great master of succulents, just like you! You're so fearless with your succulents, I want to be that way too. I hover over mine, maybe that's why they refuse to color. LOL I can't wait to watch all of your videos. You're a GEM Liz! Thank you!
I'm no Master at all. Like what you said, just fearless. Hope some of my bravery rubs off on you. 🥰 Thanks for watching and subscribing.
This is the first time I watched your video. You have so much experience and confidence I just enjoyed watching. All I’ve done to echeveria is kill them. Maybe it’s too much babying that killed them. I bought another one so I’ll try to keep it alive.
They thrive on minimal care and neglect. Good luck with your new baby.
