I had to stay until closing time to get my moneys worth as getting to the zoo took me 3 hours!! She pottered around almost the whole time I was there and I think it was worth it in the end. She really is a beautiful little gorilla and so robust and healthy. Hoping her older sister is more gentle with her now. I’m not seeing many videos of this group. Love Effie and love Venus

I have been struggling getting to the zoo recently and the editing of videos as well which is why there is not as many videos coming out than there was. I'm hoping I can get back on to it properly now because I don't want to miss these wonderful babies growing up! Have a lovely Thursday and hopefully will lead on to a wonderful weekend 😊
@diana, thank you for watching. I do see this differently to you. I think the mother is moving to help Venus feed in the sitting position. When she changes breast, Effie moves so she can remain sitting up. So when Venus is on the left breast, Effie is on her back, when Venus moves to the right breast, Effie moves to her side. If she stayed on her back Venus would have to either change sides or lay on her tummy which wouldn't be comfortable at all. I can see why you think she is rejecting her but I promise this mum is lovely to her baby and is not mean to her baby. I know in the beginning she did come across as indifferent but I don't know why she was like that, but she really isn't any more. They cuddle and Effie is very tactile and loves her baby very much.
Life with baby! They will just conk out after awhile!😂
