Just wanted to make a note: 2716 IS NOT owned by KSHC. IN FACT, the only steam locomotive that group (will) own outright is RJ Corman 2008 "Old Smokey" (As soon as RJ Corman move the locomotive to Ravenna). C&O 2716 is LEASED from the Kentucky Railway Museum on a long term lease to the group, much like it was to Southern and then the Fort Wayne Historical Society in the latter part of last century. --Nashville-based rail historian

5065 was a B&O, not C&O, marked locomotive at the time it was painted green. The Cumberland Shop is B&O territory, so they wouldn’t pick a C&O owned unit for their shop switcher. There was a matching green B&O C-23 class caboose too, 902884. I believe they were painted green in 1984.

@@guy_called_Odin general maintenance stuff it’s just taking up the time at the moment. I know I will be working on track here soon.
Tbh, I would want to see the 9565 paint scheme get put on a CSX SD70MACe, it would look nice and dope tbh
