That mac and cheese sounds amazing. And YES, you need the Velveeta ( the cheese of the South)! I would melt it first, but then, I'm not Dolly. Little melty chunks are not a bad thing 😂 As for Chocolate Cobbler, words fail me. The first time I had it was at a restaurant in New Orleans years (and years) ago. I couldn't believe what I was tasting! When I got home, I went to the library and looked through every cookbook there (this was before the internet) with no luck. Then, one day, I found a recipe in (I think) Southern Living magazine. I made it when I had some friends over for supper and they were impressed. It wasn't quite as good as the one I had in NOLA, but it was still delicious. I made it a couple of more times for gatherings, but don't dare make it now , since it's just me and I know what will happen 😂 I suppose I could share with my neighbors. Thanks for sharing!
I want a coil stove I hate the flat top and mine says no canning on it. Makes me mad because I let them talk me into that flat top, Love the pup. Nope never heard of chocolate cobler either. Actually it is dairy. It contains , as per the label : skim milk, milk,canola oil, milk protein concentrate, sodium phosphate, contains less than 2% of modified corn starch, whey protein concentrate, maltodextrin, whey, salt, calcium phosphate, lactic acid, sorbic acid as a preservative, milk fat, sodium algenate, sodium citrate, enzymes, apocarotenal and annatto (color), cheese culture, Vitamin A palmitate. CONTAINS : MILK

I specifically asked about our stove being safe for canning and was told absolutely it was safe.
Some of the coils can't take the weight of a full canner. Check before you buy. I love gas stoves❤
