I watched these 5 months ago and started doing them as I sustained a medial colateral ligament tear and wanted to regain strength and mobility. I'm 66 years old and I'm glad to say that I'm almost recovered and can even run again. I do these simple exercises every day along with some others and can't thank you enough. So big thanks once again for sharing!
I am not one of the "I followed your video once and my knees were fixed" crowd but one of the "after 4 weeks sticking at it I am now no longer in pain" crowd. I stopped running 5 years ago after my knees suddenly got very painful and have felt limited in my exercises ever since. Going downhill, down the stairs, jumping, pivoting had become difficult but it would appear that the workout has paid off... I have never felt so strong in my legs. Thank you so so much for sharing your content on a free platform!!
I’ve done these exercises for the past four weeks and my knee pain has reduced to the point that I can sit cross-legged again, put my shoes on standing up, and kneel again- sounds like little things but before those actions caused searing pain. So thank you so much for this video ❤
Thanks so much! I'm 23 years old and have "hook" or "J" knees, causing my knees to dislocate. This video was a lifesaver! I can't believe I've been doing squats with weights for so long and with ZERO no knee strength- yet this simple looking video activated muscles my knees I have never felt before! You've won a subscriber! Thanks Jessica! P.S. It's strange how MENTAL working out is. I think what REALLY benefited me as well was describing the anatomy and what exercises activate which muscles so my brain actually connects to the muscle. This is awesome!
I recently started to jog and then I Noticed next day i started to have severe knee pains. I hope with your exercises I will heal my knee pain and be able to jog
Nice Video! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Rocky Position Approach (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning how to fix chronic knee pain without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my best friend Jordan at very last got astronomical results with it.
These exercises are preventative for me. I feel most young men desperately need this to extend their lifetime mobility as we so often have such limited range and severe issues later in life. These exercises feel so right. Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤️
I’m very grateful for videos like this where someone is just calmly instructing me. When I try to do exercises by myself I always lose track and get bored. I am in desperate need of doing physiotherapy exercises and just you being there to tell me “now do x!” Helps me actually do it. I hope I will recover from my fat pad impingement (I’ve been struggling with it for over two years without knowing what it was and just reinjuring my knees whenever I tried strength training by myself). I’ll come back in two months with an update for anyone else with this kind of injury❤
I would love it if you would do a full workout where you work both sides and for the full amount of time that you want us to work them. That would be great!
Im 72 and only did these exercises less than 2 times. I had knee lateral knee discomfort and weakness. I actually feel a major difference already. Thank you so much.
Am so grateful to you Jessica! I have knee and ankle pain brought on by fallen arches and you are so very right that a number of people with knee pain have some weakness in the pelvis and hips. I routinely have pain in my L5-sacroileac region. I started feeling slightly better after 10 repeats of the very first exercise involving leg extension. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks so much. :-)
Hi Jessica, many thanks for your videos. You are such a professional ! Im 69 and still running sub 4 hr marathons. I ran Boston in 2018. Every now and again I have lower back pain or hip pain or glutes and lately knee pain. I refuse to believe its age ! Whenever I have these pains I check your videos and they put me right. I've had this knee pain for a few weeks and Im running a 40 Klm trail run with my club buddies tomorrow. I have been doing your exercises last couple of days and I do believe my knee is OK ! I feel this latest exercise really hits the spot for me . Once again, many thanks . I have recommended your videos to many of my running friends. Cheers, Fred, Sydney Australia
I'm 36 years old and already suffering from osteoarthritis. I'm constantly in pain. The exercises you did were amazing. I didn't overwork myself, and was able to perform them fairly well even though I had to pause a few times because my muscles are so weak. I plan on working through this video everyday. Great job, and thank you!!!!
Nice Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Dinanlinson Rocky Position Approach (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one off product for learning how to fix chronic knee pain without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my GF at last got cool success with it.
I'm not sure but ,if anyone else wants to learn about natural treatment for knee pain leg pain try patella pain pundit (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy got amazing results with it.
I came here from your meniscus tear video. I’m 68 years old and active. And mountain bike and hike… Or at least I did until a complex baker cyst had me in for an MRI, which showed meniscus tears and stage 2 to 4 osteoarthritis in my left knee. I worked with a PT for two months and rehabbed the left knee. Feels great! Two weeks later my right knee blew up. It’s been two months and no real progress so I’m going for an MRI. My left leg is 2 inches shorter from a traumatic injury… Motorcycle accident at age 19. I wear a 1 1/4 inch lift because that’s all I can tolerate. In another PT video, he highly discourages any contraction of the quads with anyone who has OA. He says most people are quad, dominant, and I would say I fall into that category. He focuses on strengthening the glutes only. Once you’ve come to a certain level, he then recommends quads. I’m guessing I have same similar issues in my right knee. I’d like to hear your opinion with regard to strengthening quads with advanced OA. I’d like to get back to biking and hiking. Not sure how that’s going to go. Thank you!
I am here due to knee pain that won't go away 8 weeks later. I hope this helps because I miss my lunges and squats sooo much!! Excellent video enjoyed it!!
I used to watch your video before baby when I was healthy and lean. After baby it’s been 3 months i still have joint pain. I cant even go to regular pilates class and get really depressed. Your video helps me even more thesedays thank you!!🙏🏻👍🏻❤🙆♀️
As far as I can see this is the best knee-exercise video. These exercises are very good especially when squats are to hurtful for the knee. These exercises feel like instant knee- fortifiers. I hope to be able to run soon again. Thanks Jessica
I am older than dirt. (79) I was thinking knee replacement . I saw your previous video, three exercises. I did the exercises on the third one I felt something in my right knee. When I got on my feet I could feel the difference. I've been doing them every day. My knee still hurts but not as bad. This video goes further I will add these to my routine. I want to thank you so much for doing this. I don't believe I will need surgery. God bless. Phil Palm Bay FL
Hi Jessica, I am 48 years old and have been having knee pain for about 4 months. Seen a physio therapist and the pain does not seem to go away after 1.5 months treatment. I cannot squat as I fee pain and tightness. Have been icing😔. Will definitely try your knee exercises and see how it goes. Thank you🙏🏻
HiJessica! Thank you so much! I have started to have knee pain after doing squats and lunges and now I understand it must have been because of not having a stable base. I have a feeling that these exercises will help me a lot! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for sharing you'r knowledge, so intelligent to explain things. Having knee pain is no laughing matter, i feel like i got my life back, i'm able to run and go down the stairs without pain like i used to when i was younger, thanks to people like you who share their knowledge to help many like me. Thank you once again, you'r a beautiful person. Have an awesome life☺ thank's!
Jessica you are a life saviour I too had endometriosis after seeing u I had a hope and confidence to heal And I am today totally healthy Thanks a ton May god bless you
Glad I found these exercises! Especially for my knee issues and really who had time to see a p.t? I live a few miles away from my parents and find staying home or traveling that I can do these anywhere!
Your scoliosis video has been God send to me for years. I still go back to it. I've recently gotten a knee injury and this is going to be another regular for me. Thank you so much!
Hello Jessica, a couple of months ago I missed a step coming down the stairs and i put too much weight on my left leg. I am feeling the pain in the muscles and tendons around my outer left knee. I did not pay much attention to it right away as I was travelling. The long plane rides were no fun :( Muscle relaxants, and Tylenol help but it is not getting better. I am in a foreign country for 6 months . I have good days and bad days of pain. Normally I am an active person who does regular Iyengar yoga and loves walking - however, this knee pain is restricting my lifestyle. I am glad I stumbled upon your video and will do your recommended exercises. Thank you for a very informative video.
Thank you so much!!! i found you in youtube and i start following your daily exercise and do what you do for knee pain and its working for me and feel good and no pain thank you so much and i love you from Nepal🇳🇵🙏🙏
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to find a physical therapist that also does pilates! This is exactly what I need for my knee pain (femoral patella syndrome). The exercises my PT provided didn't seem to do anything for my quads, but they are not as challenging as your exercises.
A great set of exercises. So well explained and demonstrated. I will do these instead of squats and lunges for me knee recovery and keep doing them! Thankyou for sharing!
Thank you so much for this!!! I’m really enjoying your videos and have run into some pretty significant pain in my right knee. So glad to have this resource to treat my sweet knee!
I wanted to cry it burned so bad. I am trying to keep away from knee pain. I was in therapy for 3 months and all the exercises you did the therapist did as well. He said I would most likely have to continue for rest of life. I had therapy again 3 years later and that one said the same. I must say it works when consistent.
Loved that! You have a great way of explaining and such a pleasant voice :) Also I felt the excercises where just what I was looking for. Will be back for sure!
I'm a soccer player recovering from a knee injury and I have to say that these exercises are actually challenging and refreshing! Thank you for the video, it's very helpful. You earned yourself a subscription!
Thank you soooo much. I hyperextended my left knee on Tuesday and found this video and have been doing it daily. I'm feeling improvement! I'm still taking it easy, but I'm hoping this will strengthen my knee muscles. Barbara
I just want to thank you Jessica for this video. I'm a fitness instructor and recently have noticed I've been getting sore knees, clearly must be from some type of imbalance in what I'm teaching or over-using. I've started doing these exercises daily and already am feeling the difference in my knees. THANK YOU :-)
Great video. Love the fact that you give time for people to work through the exercises alongside you. Really nicely done. Trying to use these to heal my flat feet and bad knees. Thank you. Will definitely follow you going forward.
I’m 24 years old and don’t have knee pain but when I do squats or jumps I start to feel a bit of discomfort in my knees and hips. So I thought I would do some exercises to strengthen them! Thanks again Jessica!!
I feel like this video is something of a medical miracle. After just a few days doing this once per day, I felt like I had brand new knees. I passed this on and now it has helped others as well.
Thank you Jessica I will keep on doing these exercises I hope with the repetition on a daily basis will help to reduce my knee pain (I have pain in both knees the patilla).
Just wanted to say that this is about the best video I have found for knee pain! Very all-encompassing set of exercises. I am certain that this will help me! Thank you!
Hey! So many of these are the same things I did for my PT when my knees would go out of joint when I was a little kid. Now that I’m 38 my knees hurt 🤦🏻♀️, and here I am doing these exercises again! It’s great exercise for everyone, and certainly beneficial for my knee so I’m excited to have found this quick work out. Thank you.
These exercises are great! Normally after skiing and running a lot my knees ache for at least a day afterwards, but doing these exercises a few times a week have really been helping that ache. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video, Jessica! I did the exercises earlier today, and I haven't felt this comfortable with my knee for a long time! I know I will sleep well tonight because I'm lying in my bed and I don't feel the usual discomfort and tightness on my knee. I was taught all of these by my pt about two years ago after my knee surgery. I should have not stop doing them. This video helped me to refresh my memory of exercise steps. Gonna keep doing this tomorrow!
Jessica, thank you so very much! I started to stop this exercise after 1st min because it seemed so simple that I doubted it would help. . . Boy was I wrong. It really did stop my kneecap from aching! Yesterday was 1st time trying it. I have metal plate around kneecap, so it gives me the blues occasionally. Hmmm, who am I kidding? Daily, but I actually had to take an Alleve 2 days ago. Again, I thank you!
I'm off work and stuck here at home with knee pain from mountain biking. Thanks so much for providing this video. I'm really wanting to balance the strength of the leg muscles and work on core strength also. You do an excellent job of explaining all of it in these videos.
I had a knee replacement over 6 mos ago and my knee started hurting again and it feels like I'm back to square one. So I'm starting slowly again. Thanks for these tips. I'm also taking pilates at a studio (with reformer and cadillac) and going very slowly again
I have an overuse injury and lots of motion in my hip hurts. Pilates is a great way for me to stay fit and let that hip heal a little with reduced friction. Also I think part of my injury was due to weak hips and mobility. I like how this routine both strengthens and does some dynamic stretching. Best of both worlds!
Jessica, this is the BEST knee pain relieving exercise!!! I try these movements to have healthy knees either when they are fine or hurting due to overtraining. As always, thank you so much.
Tha k you for this video! I had knee lain from mh work out. Tryingto find the best wayto warm up and address the pain, and your exercises work. Thankyou again.👏
Thank you so much! I was so troubled by the dilemma of keeping active and sport injuries. Thanks to your instructions, now I can finally train the leg muscles and hip muscles without hurting knees.
Thank you, this felt good. I've suffered with knee pain for 3 years due to an accident. found out I have shattered cartilage. These exercises are similar to the best PT ones I was given, but I stopped doing them because I was in a lot of pain. Going to do these ones for the next few weeks (plus back to monthly acupuncture) and come back to comment on how things are going.
Thank you very much for these exercises they have relieved my runners knee pain. I have flat feet and poorly supported shoes. So I have to do these exercises for the rest of my life. I'm doing my best to stay consistent. If I don't do the exercises for a week I feel the pain in my right knee. Just so you know I stop jogging up hill or jog anymore I'm doing pilates now.
+Annastecia Salmon I'm so glad the video is helping! I'm not sure how long you've had the pain, but often times with knees I tell people to do the exercises for a year. It sounds like a lot, but knees can just take a while to work themselves out :). You might be surprised to look back one day and say "Wow, my knee doesn't hurt anymore!" At that point you can drop down to doing the exercises once a week to maintain. I hope that helps!
+Annastecia Salmon I've been having knee trouble for on and off for 3 years. To bee honest with you I do the exercises 3 times a week and I get relief. However I'm pushing for everyday. I live in a busy environment that may cause me to forget to do my exercises.
Jessica, thank you so much for these wonderful videos! These exercises in particular have really benefited me as a semi-professional distance runner and I always incorporate these exercises into my post-run routine! I highly recommend these exercises to all runners :)
I think this is a good video, thank you. I don't think I'm ready for squatting; may have been causing me to feel weaker in my knees, actually. I will use this video to strengthen.
This is the excellent,a great information and helpful thanks a lot Almighty God be with you always and long live, to day I learned from your respected video a lot,I already started.
Thank you sooo much! I was in PT so many times with knee injuries and yet still wasn't incorporating these moves into my routine. I recently over did it with some squats/lunges and could barely move my knees for days (chondromalcia). These exercises have helped so much - after only a week, I'm 90% better. Hoping to build up more strength to get back to those squats/lunges ;) Sara
Felt a a difference after a few days, but I hope to feel better in 4 weeks. How have you been doing?
Do you still do these excersise s?
I’ve done these exercises for the past four weeks and my knee pain has reduced to the point that I can sit cross-legged again, put my shoes on standing up, and kneel again- sounds like little things but before those actions caused searing pain. So thank you so much for this video ❤
İ just started today ,İ hope it would help me too😢

Hello Jessica! I'm 54 years old. And I been doing it for 3 weeks now.. I'm starting to see a difference. I'm able to jog now Thank you so much.
Wonderful news!
I recently started to jog and then I
Noticed next day i started to have severe knee pains.
I am looking forward for your progress update. Please keep a good work. 🙏

Doing those leg circles like that whilst talking is so impressive, those things absolutely slay me!

This looks really good so will try starting from tomorrow!

I'm glad you are feeling better!
Thank you so much for this video. Today I started to do this for my knee pain in both legs. Love you! 😘😘😘👍👍👍💋💋💋🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thanks Jessica! Love your videos
Excellent video Jessica. Thank you for this!

Thanks so much for explaining what to do really clearly, and for taking the time to help people who need this!
Glad it was helpful!
Very useful exercises,
Beautifully narrated
I'm off work and stuck here at home with knee pain from mountain biking. Thanks so much for providing this video. I'm really wanting to balance the strength of the leg muscles and work on core strength also. You do an excellent job of explaining all of it in these videos.
+Brian Bechtol Thanks and I hope your knee is better soon!
Thank you Jessica this has helped me a lot!

Very sensible advice thank you.
Thanks, Jessica!
I had a knee replacement over 6 mos ago and my knee started hurting again and it feels like I'm back to square one. So I'm starting slowly again. Thanks for these tips. I'm also taking pilates at a studio (with reformer and cadillac) and going very slowly again
I was learning to live with the pain until the last couple of weeks since I've watched this video, may great karma come your way. You are my hero!
Hope it helps!
Thanks, Jessica. Your video is awesome!!!
Jessica, this is the BEST knee pain relieving exercise!!! I try these movements to have healthy knees either when they are fine or hurting due to overtraining. As always, thank you so much.
I hope they help!
Tha k you for this video! I had knee lain from mh work out. Tryingto find the best wayto warm up and address the pain, and your exercises work. Thankyou again.👏
You're welcome!
Thank you so much! I was so troubled by the dilemma of keeping active and sport injuries. Thanks to your instructions, now I can finally train the leg muscles and hip muscles without hurting knees.
That's great!
Thanks! I will keep doing this.
wonderful for knee pain
yes a bit less pain. Thank you. After so much trying to recoup from knee pain; it's time to begin moving it again. Thanks!!!
Thank you Jessica
Thank you, this felt good. I've suffered with knee pain for 3 years due to an accident. found out I have shattered cartilage. These exercises are similar to the best PT ones I was given, but I stopped doing them because I was in a lot of pain. Going to do these ones for the next few weeks (plus back to monthly acupuncture) and come back to comment on how things are going.
2nd sesh - The circles were a little easier, so already a tiny bit stronger since the first sesh.
Aiming to do this 4x per week.
3rd sesh - I’m getting stronger! had some pain yesterday. So 3 sessions in 1 week.
Next week I’ll aim for 3-5 and report back.
Omg thanks for responding I will do that....
+Annastecia Salmon I've been having knee trouble for on and off for 3 years. To bee honest with you I do the exercises 3 times a week and I get relief. However I'm pushing for everyday. I live in a busy environment that may cause me to forget to do my exercises.
+Annastecia Salmon I keep a daily log of what I eat and exercises I do to keep me on track because it reminds me to exercise and eat healthier.
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you so much so useful.
So happy to have discovered your videos! You are a brilliant teacher Jessica. Wonderful personality and top notch information and instruction!
Thank you so much!
This was harder than I thought it’d be. Thanks
Thank you for this very helpful video! 😊
Jessica, thank you so much for these wonderful videos! These exercises in particular have really benefited me as a semi-professional distance runner and I always incorporate these exercises into my post-run routine! I highly recommend these exercises to all runners :)
I'm glad they have helped!

Thank you for the video! It's really useful~
Oh this is good. Thank you
Thank you sooo much!
Great set of exercises! Thanks.
Thank you
