It is a mirror. However, it has been modified to use for fruit.
There is a wooden back glued onto it. And there is kitchen cauk in between the frame and mirror.
Look at restaurant supply places to find oversized platters. If you look at my channel, I believe I have 9 different fruit videos on different plastering techniques.

Hi how many people can this platter feed? My wedding will have 250 people!
Hi Rose,
This is done on a mirror.
It feeds 150 to 175 people.
I believe that the mirror ( not including the frame) is
22" x 28".
If you use a mirror, you have to put a back on it to hold the weight of the fruit. I used 1/4" plywood.
You also have to cauk between the frame and mirror so the juice doesn't leek all over.
A lot easier is to buy 18" x 26" white plastic platters that cost around $20.00 from Amazon.

These white platers feed about 100 people. But I would only do 2 for 250 people.
