- This guide is not meant for people who are new to the concept of 4-wheel drifting. An explanation of 4-wheel drifting and its basics can be found here:
• How to 4 Wheel Drift! ...
It is a far better tutorial than my video and the creator makes great content.
In this guide, I try to explain how to one-handed drift using my personal car and style. It is similar to that of God Arm in Initial D.

The textures for this map are broken but there is a fix posted here. The part featured in the video is not on the main road. It is on the other side of the mountain.

Nice video! Very thorough explanation, and gotta love the Rippingtons Lol. Keep it up, dude. ;)
Thanks man! I did my best to explain it in the way it made sense to me and the Riggingtons are great.
Bruh I was practicing (failing) drifting with my hand taped to the wheel, meanwhile we have dingo over here doing it god arm style.
While the 180sx mod was broken I was using the 86 and one-handed drifting is possible with it. It is still about tuning the car the right way and entering the corner correctly. The 86 can break traction with the brake and throttle and that's how Takumi does it in Initial D. I have a few tunes but they only work on my version of the 86 because I changed the horsepower amounts to better align with the show so if you have the stock one, you have to experiment and figure it out yourself.
@@Dingo135 then hours of depressing failure is ahead of me as I literally try to become a decent drifter in less time than it took me to start drifting in the first place.
@@dogeish6730 You'll get it! A tip for tuning that I found is to tune the camber and toe and stuff like a grip car. It provides stability during drifting while one-handed steering because you're still essentially grip racing but with a very large slip angle. Toe in on the back and toe out on the front is a good place to start. I also always set my caster to 100%. It may make the steering very heavy depending on your ffb settings but I have mine very low so it doesn't really affect it.
I'm late, but don't think I'd miss one of these
Better late than never
well done. great driving and great editing. cheers :)
Thank you for the compliments :>
thanks now i can finnaly become the ultimate rwd shingo mobile
Be careful to not be nakazato too because you will understeer into a guardrail if you're not careful.
@@Dingo135 yes yes nakazato bad at drifting #XD #lmao #jokes #fyp #viral
@@Dingo135 btw keep up the good work

👏👏👏👍
ha ha keyboard trotthle goes BRRRRRER
All of my pedals are actually just one really big button
i smell a new god arm
Thank you for the flattery but I'm nowhere near good enough to be called that.
When i cant use my arm cuz my dog bite me so hard, i tried to go to assetto corsa competition in korea anyways.
I tried one hand steering and got second.
While the race i slipped accidently but could catch that pretty easily.
I don't play assetto but that is still very impressive.
A bmw would be a more appropriate car to use
It would be funnier but putting your hand on top of the wheel gives you way less steering angle than the side.
Interested
I'm glad you are.
