Maranda, this is my favorite type of video. It encompasses everything I love. I've been saving my scraps to make vegetable broth like you taught us. I adore seeing your chickens. I love the Amish store; wish we had something similar nearby; the sign you made is so professional looking and your garden is gorgeous. How much sun do your Hostas get? Maranda I'm late watching this video but oh my goodness I love it all! We just purchased the same things tomatoes, peppers, cucumber etc. I also have my mother in laws antique bike that I always put beautiful flowers in. I have that with my elephant ear plants. I love your home sweet home! I'm going to try to go to the Amish store to get my seasonings ❤❤❤

When I can find Butter pats at a reasonable price, I have collected them and use them for individual servings of condiments or candies as well as on a buffet table to provide the smaller quantities of condiments.

My favorite thing in this video is most definitely the chickens, I absolutely love them but I can’t have them where I live. I also love the butter pats and the brass.

I am re-watching some of your videos because It calms me. I so love your home property and way of life. I opted for a development when raising my family because it seemed more appropriate. I have no regrets, but I am itching for that way of life now. Feel blessed because it is such beautiful way of life.

I make homemade chicken broth, basically the same way, I just add the leftovers of a rotisserie chicken after we've used the meat from it for another meal. Once I had it homemade, I could never go back to the store bought. Such a big difference.

For the bike planter get a metal thing that looks like a Bobby pin to keep it tacked down so it won't blow away if there's a storm

Hi Maranda, what a fun day spent with you! The vegetable broth looks so good, I need to make some. I love the garden box for your lettuce and how it protects from the bunnies. I’d love to see how you made that. The butter pats are so pretty. I love finding those at antique and thrift stores too. I noticed a lovely quilt on the living room chair at the beginning, maybe we can have a summer tour soon.

How long are you able to safely keep scraps in freezer before use? Love Ms Donna
They last 2-3 months and by then I usually have enough to make a batch! You could look it up for an exact time frame though just to be sure!! ♥️
