Jesus! Discovered the band couple months ago and I can't believe that I was misssing something that beautiful. I like some of the metalcore bands and listening to Architects gives me so many emotions and thoughts both with their musical talents and lyrics. I cant even believe when this song was releised I was a baby lol. Its so fucking beatiful. Loves from Turkey.❤
I've always been partial to their heavier stuff, but there's something about this song that really resonates with me. It's definitely one of their best, despite not being the sound they became known for.
many of you are arguing over genre of this song. But if you followed this band more closely, you'd know The Here and Now album was meant to have more clean vocals and was meant to be more softer than the previous albums. they stated so in an interview (or somewhere else, I don't remember exactly). they were simply mixing it up, trying something new
whoever said that is badly misinformed. In fact, BMTH takes alot from Architects. Sam taught Oli how to properly scream. Before BMTH ever used light ambient guitar, Architects were doing it. In fact, if you listen to Explosions In the Sky's song "Your Hand In Mine" BMTH directly ripped off a guitar part in there and used it to start off Blessed With A Curse. I like BMTH, but if anything, they are way more imitative than innovative. THIS, is why I will always support Architects.
SOAPRektified lol oil. I mean I can teach you how to do something properly but you may not do it. Maybe Oli liked his voice being all scratchy and it ended with him fucking up his voice
Picked yourself up, Stop loving, start living, Don't get held back, That's where they want you to be. I never paid much attention to them. Every time they pushed us aside, We got back up again, Yeah we made it through the rain, Just to live another day without them. Pick yourself back up and learn to live, Stop caring, stop thinking. Picked yourself back up and learn to live, The grass is greener on the other side, so don't give up on life. Never back down, do this for yourself, You don't need anyone to get you where you deserve. I never paid much attention to them. Every time they push us aside, We jump back up again, Yeah, we made it through the rain, Just to live another day without them. Every time they push us aside, We jump back up again, Yeah, we made it through the rain, Just to live another day without them. We are the ones you left out in the rain, Come back tomorrow and we'll be here again. We are the ones you left out in the rain, Come back tomorrow and we'll be here again. We are the ones you left out in the rain, Come back tomorrow and we'll be here again. We are the ones you left out in the rain, Come back tomorrow and we'll be here again. Here again... We made it through the rain just to live another day, We made it through the rain just to live another day, We made it through the rain just to live another day, We made it through the rain, the rain.
I'm glad that Architects 4th record is sooo very different. But in a good way. It is a huge development. And Sams voice...OMFG! If u compare the previous albums with "The Here and Now", you might think it's a completely different person.
why does it matter what genre it is? its a badass song and has way better guitar then half of the metalcore bands out there... just listen to music and appreciate it ya damn trolls
So little views compared to the rest of their music videos. Crazy bc they easily average at least a million views every time they post something nowadays
Mucho Lovo Guten Tag Treibien Salut whatever culture, live and let live. be the person you want to be and expect treatment the same. Not wanting to give you shit or anything for your view, but sometimes it isn't about how heavy the music is. Maybe by writing their music the way they did on The Here And Now was their way to express what they want to say. A lot of the times the music that is played during a song is played in a way to bring out a certain emotion that goes along with the lyrics/message.
BREAK DOWN THE WALLS! Racial segregation is a serious issue in our society even in this day and age, yet it isn't because of rules of law. We as humans choose to surround ourselves with our own likeness. That isnt to say we don't mingle with other races yet we still enjoy the company of our own over different races. I guess if i am making any point out of this prolonged rant it is this. WE ALL ARE HUMAN, WE ALL LIVE AND BREATHE AND MAKE DECISIONS.
@shredder1390 I did not say anything about you. I love how people always get mad over no reason on youtube =D. im in a band, choire, and orchestrea. so? I'm not being all "WTF IS MY FAV BAND USING" i just prefer going to a shop and actually choosing what i find best sounding. Reader discretion is adviced.
Pop, is a classification of music... any type of music could be pop music... rock metal, dance even polka. pop music changes with the times... but for the time period that this song is released, it is not pop music, pop music right now is Dance music... so if you are referring that this sounds like dance music, then you should re-evaluate your musical instincts, and maybe take a little more time to practice your craft.
The negative reception this album got, shows the close mindness of metalcore fans. Such an underrated song from such an underrated album.

tgolden12 it's an anthem for those who are hated for being themselves :) I agree with you.
tgolden12 seriously, this song..it's so different. It's the reason I listen to their music. Definitely, one of a kind.
Listen to BTN from the same Album, if you would like to hear more songs like this
*Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩*
They aren't trying to be anything else than they are and it seems that they are really enjoying of their music. Just perfect!
The song that was the gateway to metalcore for me. RIP Tom. Thanks Architects for opening my world to this beautiful genre.

I understand how people dislike songs, yeah its not yours, fine.
But dislike something just becouse its "lighter"? You are out your minds.

PooBandit1994 if Sam taught oil to scream why did oil keep fucking his voice up but Sam never did

The clean vocals make them so much better. Not to say their old stuff wasnt epic or anything.
Why doesn't Sam sing like this anymore
Aaron Villa I mean my opinion is probably that he is a lot angrier right now. He's got something to scream about
Because he change hair
Probably a lot of practice...
@@martinprochazka3714 LOLL this was back when I hated his screaming singing
@@Doc.sukhov 😆😆
