- Dynamic splint for radial nerve palsy or simply a Dynamic Cockup splint is used for physiotherapy treatment of wrist drop cases. Wrist drop is a result of radial nerve injury that can happen in elbow supracondylar fracture, fracture shaft of radius and ulna.
Wrist drop is also seen in hemiplegia where it is associated with tightness and contracture of wrist flexor muscle.

Wrist drop means you are having a problem with nerves. One is not able to move the wrist. This gadget will help those who have some movement of the wrist but not those with complete wrist drop due to nerve damage
how do you know if it is have a completely wrist drop
Bro median nerve is intact in wrist drop. Flexion of hand is possible and necessary to prevent contractures.

If there is slight movement then use dynamic splint. If there is no movement with tightness of wrist flexors, then go for static

sir 2months before I got accident and humerus shaft fracture in left hand June 10th I undergone surgery and plate fixed in my hand. I suffered from that accident. Now little bit my fingers moving except thumb. I am doing physio but little bit recovery only. No movement in wrist. All doctors told me that it is axon neuropathy. Can I recover sir. What can I do?
