@ErnstWilhelm I used Galactic Mid-Mula Ayanamsa and it placed my Venus in Aries in Rasi chart and in Taurus in Navamsa and in Taurus conjunct Moon opposition Sun in Saptamsa.Is it good or not good?

I know nothing about Vedic astrology but I found this video extremely informative. More people need to see these videos.
And also, in my D7, I am already a mother and I already do many things by myself. Now I just have someone to do it with. And with my D10 - I was already on the same path as him (studying esoteric and occult knowledge and to an extent teaching it. We have also both always desired marriage). So again, he is like icing on the cake and a gift because I had already learned to enjoy life by myself.
It is on the lower part of the chart calculator, the one with the 7 in the middle is saptamsa, the one with the 9 the navamsa. Planets aspect to some degree everything except from 0-30 from themselves, the 150 degree point, and from 300-360 behind them.
Hi, yes, I do Vedic astrology full time. And yes, Venus conjunct sun is afflicted for relationships, however, it can be good depending on other factors, for success.

But if Venus is sleeping in the 3 neighboring signs of Cancer, Leo and Virgo, since Venus is never too far from the sun, it would mean that most if not all men with Leo sun would have a sleeping Venus. as well as 2/3 of men with Virgos Suns, and about 2/3 of men with Cancer sun. Somehow, it doesn't seem fair that men born during the summer would have the worst Venus... Would that be some combustion effect of the global sun (Summer time) on Venus?
BelAge Yes, that is so. The sun and Venus are mutual enemies so its hard to be strong in 1 and not weak in the other. Strong sun is about making sacrifices for the bigger picture, so it rarely supports the worldly fulfillment that Venus can give.
While that is true, you have to check venus in the D7 and D9 as well and that can easily make up for it.
It seems aries, and Scorpio would have the best chances of getting an awake VENUS while still having a Sun supported by a friends sign. Aries has taurus and pisces on either side while scorpio has libra next to it. That seems the best chances to get a supported Sun with a awake that isn't combust.
I wonder if there's a reason for that. Even Leo doest get that lucky most of the time. I'm guessing because Sun in Mars signs tend to focussing on their inspirations and goals with discipline. Maybe.
@@ErnstWilhelm I no longer buy the idea that the sun and Venus are mutual enemies. Since these planets are never too far from each other - never more than 2 signs apart- they are astrological companions, not enemies. Of course, anything coming too close to the sun can combust and that is true of any planet.

The dharma of an individual is based on who he is and that is the AK planet, the planet with the AK (both in rasi and navamsa) and planets in the Pada. Those are the prime planets to look at. Secondarily, planets in the Upapada, and thirdly, planets in the lagna, the lagna lord, in the 10th and the 10th lord.
Ernst, I wasn't going to ask but I just need to know if your response matches my theory - I've been doing free spiritual works on UA-cam for the past 8 months and overall improving myself spiritually for the past 3 years and now I've been blessed with a new boyfriend who shares the same goals and interest as me. This was shortly after I made peace and made my intent to God and the universe. My boyfriend has exalted Venus in D9 and Venus in Scorpio of D7. To him I am too good to be true he says, but I feel the same for him, especially with my trashed Jupiter in all 3 charts - My theory is that my spiritual works and intent has cancelled my misfortunes with men. Perhaps, when people start doing remedies for VENUS or JUPITER, like spiritual practice and focusing on your inspirations, a badly place VENUS or JUPITER stars acting like it's in opposite sign where it gets higher dignity.
Example, JUPITER in gemini can start acting like Sagittarius. There's something to it where a badly placed sign is looking, suspecting the opposite sign where it would get better. Maybe it's a hint that following the path of how the planet would act in the opposite sign would start to awaken that planet.
Jupiter in gemini, learn to follow sagittarian principles.
VENUS IN Virgo, follow Pisces (jupiter) principles.
SUN IN LIBRA, follow ARIES, don't let materialism get in the way of taking care of one's goals responsibilities.
I've seen Sun in Libra people have issues with relating, relationships, material needs confusing them or getting in the away of following their own inspirations, and as they get older they seem, like Sun in aries, self-focused, responsible and go getters.

I think Karakas (indicators) such as Jupiter for husband in a woman's chart and Venus in Man's chart for the wife are important as Ernst indicates. But the lordships are more important. For instance, if a woman has a strong 7th house and lord then even if Jupiter is ill-placed it will still be fine. From what I can gather Lordships count for 2/3 and indicators 1/3.
Different mantras can be said at different times based on the planetary periods, so mantra works hand in hand with astrology. We can determine mantras from the chart. But also mantras can be determined without the chart. Like all things, they can be done with astrology.

I checked out the date for the guy I used to date and am still seeing although I broke it off because initially when we first met I didn't feel much for him, just a little attraction, nothing to go crazy over. When I am in his presence, though I really don't want to be; I get sleepy around him. No joke! and I ask myself why? I looked at his chart He has Venus in Aries in Rasi chart, In 6th house Cancer in D7 and in 2nd house in the sign Leo. I'm focused on God at this time of my life and I don't have a steady job or income. I do feel like a burden to him and it's one of the reasons why I left him. We try for the relationship but it just doesn't seem to work. Our desires and differences separate us. I thought he knew that until he came looking for me again. He's a great friend and person but I just can't be vibrant and awake around him No matter how I try to be... but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

No, they are often not single because they have a 7th house strong enough to manifest a relationship, but they have to learn to curb their expectations for what their spouse will provide, provide that to themselves, and enjoy the other things that the spouse does provide. Then also remember to check the DK planet as per the other video.

I Dig everything you're saying but the way you put it seems like the odds are really low for connecting with the right person. Especially since many do not know this method of matchmaking. All of the negative things you described I've experienced with my past partners none of their Venus have been awake all of them give me new experiences but never understood my vision. I doubt it is unaspected or not conjunct any planets. Make sure you use my calculator and check the aspect points.

Yes, your past relationships will reflect the problems indicated by Venus.
Sun will hurt Venus, Mercury will help. Then add in the aspects, if it is just Moon, then Venus has a deficit - but not ruined due to Mercury being there, but you still need to check the placement of Venus in the D7 and D9.
There could be several reasons. First, that is just the rasi chart, not your entire horoscope. THen yes, Jupiter at .36 degree is Mrityu avastha, so would not help in the Rasi. Then Jupiter could be influenced by enemies. Then Jupiter may not even matter if you were running a dasa that was not Jupiter as you have to look at the dasas running to determine the conditions under which the child was born.
What is considered as conjunction? Maximum 10 degrees or 20? Because I have Saturn and Venus in same sign but 15 degrees apart. Will this be considered as conjunction.

Ernst, I was introduced to your teachings by Astrolada. As a gay woman, I have a difficult time figuring out how to interpret some of this info. In terms of JU/VE, should I base it on the gender I date or is this based on who may be more fem/masculine? We all have a female and male side. The male side of ourselves looks for the Venus, the female side looks for the Jupiter. In a straight relationship the man is looking mostly for venus and often only for venus, a woman is looking mostly for Jupiter. So in a gay relationship, look for both, but depending on what the person is looking for, focus more on that planet. The more masculine of the pair you usually focus on Venus and for the more feminine of the pair you focus on Jupiter.

Its a y, means Yuti, wich is vedic astrology for a conjunction which is two planets in the same sign.
Yes, you need to do that too to time marriage, see what happens to the spouse, etc. But to see how much the spouse can do to make your life better it is the Venus and Jupiter and DK that matters the most.
Its a yoga that gives success, but no, it is not favorable for relationships. Many success producing yogas are not good for other things. To learn about the ayanamsa I use go to my Vedic-astrology website and find the ayanamsas and Rasis free class.
That is a tricky combination and will do a lot of different things depending on the lagna, but one with always with that combination is that Jupiter Dasa will be difficult . Mercury will be okay, and all Venus dasa will be great.

There can be many reasons, first, rasi is not that important for marriage. Then venus may be exalted, but may be kshudhita starved, mrita dead, etc. etc. Exaltation is just one of many factors that need to be examined.

+Enian Seng That is correct actually. I use different calculations than most other vedic astrologers, though there is two groups in India that does some of the calculations the same way as I do. So yes, if I was reading your chart, that is how I would calculate it, which is why I made the chart calculator for people. I use tropical rasis with sidereal nakshatras as there as that is what the Indian astronomy books previous 600AD are doing. I tested that versus sidereal rasis for 2 years, after having used sidereal rasis for 12 years, but tropical rasis tested out better with every technique so in 2007 I made the switch. Try the technique with my calculations and with what you have gotten in other software and see what makes more sense with your life.

The main things I was confused about were 1) Do I also add +30 for the D1 chart for Aries Ve or just the D7/9? 2)Whether the Risi planet aspects are helpful/hurtful to Venus in an overall summation of the 3 or just in that sector? 3)) That the moon doesn't subtract 60 for the D9/7?? (Did I hear this part right?)

Hi Ernst, at 32:27, you mention that if you run a dasha that's giving relationship happiness, it can solve issues of sleeping Venus, but what dasha would that be and is it the same for a sleeping Jupiter or a sub dasha? Please elaborate if possible. Blessings!
Any dasa that is good for relationships, and that will depend on the chart exactly.
I'm already in my (sleeping) Jupiter Dasha but my Mahadash is Mercury which rules both my 2nd and 11th house. Jupiter sits in 11th house. Is that possibly good or better? (even though Jupiter and Mercury are enemies) Thanks again!
Mercury in Navamsa is in Virgo too, and it rules Venus, and it is Venus's natural friend, so your marriage would be secure under Mercury Dasa most likely. If mercury is in the first six degrees of VIrgo in the navamsa or if Mercury is joined the moon in the rasi or has a strong aspect by the Moon in the rasi then mercury could give some trouble, but if not, all should go well.
New thought: I remember looking Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward-- neitherJupiter for Joanne nor Venus for Paul are particularly good, but their marriage was strong so they seem to find each other equally fulfilling. So I think perhaps Venus for a man shows how much he looks up to his lady, and Jupiter for a woman shows how much she respects her guy. So when the strength of these two planets are largely comparable (equally good or equally bad), you have a good marriage; when one is noticeably stronger than the other, there's power imbalance and hence divorce etc (Brad Pitt situation comes to mind)
Padma Raga Paul Newman has publicity stated that he had spent many nights on the couch or kicked out of the house entirely. Which means he was cheating or just difficult to live with. They may have stayed married but it was not a perfect marriage.

Where my Venus is placed in 11 house if I count from Asc but the house numbered on the cusp is 6 in my D9 chart . Which one I should consider that my Venus place 11 from my D9 Asc or 6 from my D9 Asc ?
Its in 11th from asc. Its in the same navamsa as the 6th cusp navamsa, so it will impact the 6th. So the cusps for all the bahvas are calculated just as is the lagna for the D9.

They are really not combust. The Sanskrit word is Asta, setting, which only happens when the planet is behind the sun, so when retro, do not treat it as combust. Mercury and venus's cheshta bala is full when retro and conjunct the sun, zero when direct and conjunct the sun.
What if Venus is in taurus/libra/pisces but in 12th house in D7 or D9? Being happily married and having a second woman in the same time, but being happy with them both at the same time?
What if in man chart Venus is awaken in Navamsa but sleeping in Saptamsa?

Saturn/Aries (debilitated) in the ascendant in D1. Saturn/Virgo conjunct Sun (29:16 - debilitated) in D7. Saturn/Scorpio conjunct Moon (debilitated) in D9.
Plus, Ketu and Moon are also in Libra/7th house in D1.
I wonder what destiny is trying to tell this person. It gives the person a marvelous Venus regarding signs and houses. But, at the same time, keeps CARPET BOMBING it with Saturn and debilitated Saturn, debilitated Sun and debilitated Moon plus Ketu.
