Very accurate. I have Rahu conjunct Venus in Pisces in 12 house of my D9 12 chart. I am not promiscuous at all and actually quite prudish but I do work in a hospital as an Ob/Gyn doctor, so I do see/treat women with STDs. Been deeply interested in psychiatry/ astrology/universe/spirituality for the past few years.
I had a perfect 7 year relationship, but broke up after I realized it wouldn’t work out to my highest expectations. I am afraid of commitment now because I am obsessed with perfection even though I know it doesn’t exist in reality. Also, I won’t settle for less. Unless I find the right one I refuse to buy into societal expectations of what happiness is defined as marriage and having a family/children. Like you addressed, it’s unrealistic but I do want to feel good all the time.

Wow he is so right about consulting a person who has good relationships! So i have Ra-Ve in 11th n i have struggled in my relationship in the beginning but as i took more coaching and read about relationships and applied those principles without questioning my relationship improved and so exactly as he mentions, through consulting wiser people and mentors I found a way to make my relationship work..i am in this relationship now for the past 16years and its my one and only relationship ever.. and there were several times it could have broken for good but i really believe therapy and extensive inner work helped me to mature my Venus.. do i have days when i feel , is this all that there is .. yes absolutely but i know that its not me feeling it, its just this Ra-Ve energy .Writing positive aspects of your partner really helps.

But every 3 years... I'll make a fatal move and spend another 3 years in celibacy and spiritual development.

This has been quite accurate from my experience. I am in Rahu dasha. My Rahu is conjunct Venus and Mercury. Is the Scorpio sign. In the second house.
Growing up I was sexualized at the age of 7.
And my father was very unstable and abusive and we grew up in poverty, and I was often homeless. Nothing was ever stable and I was heavily neglected when I tried to get help.
It’s been a bit uncomfortable.. to say the least.:(
What I experience is power struggle, and being sexualized, and controlled. I have had everything you have said, happen to me.
I have inappropriately connected with others to a point where I’ve lost my own identity and am controlled in each and everyday by the other person. Or at least, I have let myself give my power of personal authority to them.
I stopped socializing because people were often inappropriate with me so I started isolating.
I am depleted from my Rahu. So I’ve been in seclusion for the last two years. In therapy and i feel that I never actually got a chance to experience anything good. So I don’t trust people and I spend a lot of time alone.
Venus Rahu has given me issues with love addictions which I am working through by learning the psychology on attachment theory and limerence, while also giving me a relatively artistic nature. So I would say this is accurate.
I have this and i certainly know how to have healthy relationships. My conjunction is in pisces, but also know i probably will never reach it because everyone is so damn confused about true love.
All the relationships now are based on needs. Because some many are lonely, other ready to have kids, ect
When you study attachachment styles its will be apparent that on’y 50% are security attached. The rest has toxic relationships based on needs. And needs are temporary.

I have this conjunction in the 7th house. From what I've read and seen in myself, some people become obsessed with constantly being in relationships and others can be afraid and avoidant of relationships. I tend to be more of the latter, personally. Ryan, this is a random question, but how do you interpret intercepted houses in tropical vedic charts?

i have venus rahu and uranus together in 4th house in Scorpio.. noticed that ppl im not into so much are willing to make nice relationships and it feels right but its not exciting enough.. seems boring and I tend to leave them after a while. On the other hand ppl i find exciting and attractive are also interested but I'm losing it with them to the point that they leave me and don't want to have nothing to do with me after a while which then leaves me brokenhearted.. it's like i'm losing my real identity to fit into their expectations of me and visions of life because i'm scared to loose them.. wondering how to improve it. :-)

Your reactions may just unconsciously protect you from feelings that you experienced as a child,...feelings that you could not process because you were too young. So whenever someone gets too close to you and touches your vulnerability,..you run. With Venus in Scorpio your feelings run very deep, especially those of affection. I thought I was so confused in my mind because of my moon in Gemini in the 3rd H. Guess that also helps. I lost all my personal power, North Node(9h) conjunct Venus which conjunct Mercury and Pluto in the 8th all squaring Saturn in 11H.
I have kiron in Virgo in 6th H opposite asteroid pholus, it said gives me the "possibility" to think backwards or upsidedown. Plus I'm a Saggy sun 9h.
I've got a really good therapist she's really good, she's helping me to put all my mess in places.now I confused everything less than I did it before, I really mixed everything up in my head like a blender. I still do it. I did arts just to feel healing about not being loved and I realized I confused love with beauty. I thought my mom just for the fact of being so pretty she'll love me but no.

I have rahu ven very closely conjunct. rah at 13 something and ven at 14 something degrees. but I also have the Lord of the house sun along with mer jup sat. this sun ven and rah is also vargottama in d9 5th house.
