Actually they make more money by first giving you a root canal plus a crown and THEN extracting the tooth when that root canal goes bad. I trust implants about as much as I do roof canals. They are the main cash cows of the dental profession and usually go together: one after the other.
I have no clue what he just said i heard him say take the tooth out and save the tooth so what is it? What does fixed teeth to an implant mean? Sounds like hes extracting teeth and giving an implant.
@@LEO-xo9cz A dead tooth is one that the dentist has done a root canal on. It has no nerves and blood supply anymore so it can't feel or heal. You won't feel anything even if it is heavily infected with bacteria. If the infection spreads to the living gums around to tooth or though the jawbone or into a nearby tooth, that causes an abscess and will cause pain. A normal tooth in your mouth with a cavity and the nerve exposed will be so painful that it will not get a chance to die in your mouth on its own because you will have to pull it out before it dies. A root canal is the only time a dead tooth is left in your mouth.
The speaker’s use of patient complaints to favor extraction rather than save the tooth using root canal therapy is, at best, misleading. “root canals don’t work for me” comments by patients avoid the use of scientific patient population samples. One might listen to patients who say heart surgery didn’t work for me, or back surgery didn’t work for me ad infinatum . The speaker does not cite scientific studies, but instead refers to his very own anecdotal “information”. Here he is clearly biased directing patients to his clinic where he will profit from extracting teeth and replacing them with implants. I think dental, endosseous implants constitute a wonderful service when necessary. But extracting perfectly good teeth, whether, or not they have had root canals is inappropriate. Patients can present with symptomatic teeth after getting a root canal. Often, this is because smaller, lateral canals were missed during initial root canal treatment. One study shows 97.5% success rate in first time root canals and 92% in re-treatment cases when performed by root canal specialists. T.V. is not the best place to choose a dentist. Stephen Kane. DDS

Can't you just ride out the pain until the nerve dies? While using H2O2 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to remove bacteria and infection? A waterpik with hydrogen peroxide and water on a low pressure setting works wonders. And using 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide 3x daily from 3 to 12 drops will eliminate any bacteria and disease. Disease and bacteria can NOT live in an oxygenated environment. Far too many major dangers of removing tissue with root canals. Obviously, these dentists are going to be pro root canal to line their pockets. Certainly a conflict of interest.
@ Jeep TJ Wheelin’. If they claim a a dentist can’t clean out the tooth adequately, what make you think you can? How do you think that you can get H2O2 into the small spaces in the canals and how long do you want to contribute doing that 3x day?
@@toothrestorer6588 My post was a question, not a statement. I too was looking for other options. You can not use H202 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide for a prolonged period of time. @@LGj-yk3ki it sucks to hear that you got drilled without being numb. That's not okay at all and you should report that dentist. If you have an infection deep within your canals then the only possible way is to either get a root canal or extraction. The root canal will fully clean out the canal using both drills which you and I do not have and many other sterlile special equipment to carefully clean out the infected canal without damaging the nerves etc. Using hyrdrogen peroxide might be good for the crown of the tooth but for the canals and pulp? No it cannot disinfect the sneaky bacteria deep in the canals just by rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide. My advice would be to go see your dentist. A good, certified dentist that won't drill without numbing you. Dental problems will never heal on their own. If you dont do something either a root canal or extraction, then the infection will spread because you doing hyrdrogen peroxide rinses might help with pain but it won't stop the infection from spreading to other tissues or even bone.

Now I am on really, really bad pain. I don't want to lose my tooth.

Can you say why? What is your experience.
Root canals are nothing. No pain. But the price is high.
Another option is travelling to Turkey for dental operations. Dental operations are very very cheap when we compare with USA and very high quality works done in Turkey.
That's what I'm thinking to do I need a root canal do they do that in turkey because I see a lot of video.

Thank you so much for this video. However, I didn't agree with that (no more root canal treatment).
First, the natural tooth cannot be returned back if extracted. Second, the root canal treatment can save the tooth and maintain its function. Third, surgical intervention in some cases is not preferred because it can put the patient at risk, especially if the patient has some chronic diseases.
what do you mean with your third point

You need to watch the "Root Cause". Root canals can have dire effects on your systemic health. Knowledge is power.
Oh, wow! So there is no danger to take out the root canal if there are some health problems, but will be better..because after a root canal treatment I started to feel bad I don t know if the connection start so quickly but I want to take them out.
@@minkycat66 I have 4 root canals since 2005 without any problem. My tooth is still strong and have no physical pain or infections. Please stop just hearing these people. How is implant better than root canal.
I love my root canal tooth. It’s already 13 years old. He has a new crown on it and it’s still doing great. I want my God given tooth before an implant.
I had a dentist say I needed a root canal 20 years ago, and I told him I wanted to think about it. I went to another dentist a week later, and said he could do the crown without a root canal and it worked fine. That was 20 years ago, and I still have the same old crown with no problems. I think it is a financial thing myself
Why did the dentist tell you to have the root canal? Did you have pain in that tooth, was it infected or why?
@@Fugayzy Don't remember now, but at the time it didn't seem right. And it's still fine after all this time w/o a root canal.
@@zztop8592I was asking because they say if a tooth is infected, it is dead. And if you had an infection(face swelling) and tooth is still ok, means the truth healed
They make more money with extraction and adding a fake tooth.
Actually they make more money by first giving you a root canal plus a crown and THEN extracting the tooth when that root canal goes bad. I trust implants about as much as I do roof canals. They are the main cash cows of the dental profession and usually go together: one after the other.
Exactly. Which makes root canals even more sinister.
I had my Teeth pulled out. But I feel safer eating without My Dentures. I ate taco’s Hamburgers with just ketchup, and Chicken
Had several root canals with crown restoration. Saved my teeth ! 👌
I have no clue what he just said i heard him say take the tooth out and save the tooth so what is it? What does fixed teeth to an implant mean? Sounds like hes extracting teeth and giving an implant.
I was thinking the same thing. I would rather save my tooth.
@@LEO-xo9cz If your tooth is dead I think it's better to remove it and implant something sterile, for longterm health reasons. That's just my take.
@@avinashjagdeo How do you know whether or not your tooth is dead? Does pain mean that it is dead?
@@avinashjagdeo Thanks. How strong are implants?

If your tooth has its nerves intact you can save you tooth. Research it.
This implant companies are marketing like crazing. Being an employee of implang company i wanted to tell public such kind of videos are 100% market oriented. Profit margin is very very hige say around 800-1000%. Thats y many videos are promoting Implants. Just ask anyone who had failed implant removed how traumatic is d procedure. Same person will never ever opt for implant. So please stop making such kind of videos.
But I will say it is by far the best alternative to big pharma poisons. I ended up getting a root canal and it was brutal. My dentist was an absolute hack. Like the song, Some Beach, that sob started drilling before I was numb.
@@JeepTJWheelin oh nooo
@@JeepTJWheelin i did mine without anestesion 3 roots where healthy they hurt a but the one that got infected had died alredy it didnt hurt at all
@@LGj-yk3ki it sucks to hear that you got drilled without being numb.

5,000 per tooth here in Georgia. Many dentists do not accept dental insurance.

Yes Dentistry is expensive and you pay for the Brain at the end of the Drill. You are not paying for material or auto parts. You are paying for the surgeon to practice on YOU because YOU are unique and special. Every patient has a slightly different response to every procedure. If every unique person reacted exactly the same it would be THE Exact SCIENCE of Dentistry not the Practice of....... So interestingly enough the implants and mini implants are much more predictable albeit less efficient then a tooth of Nature a GOD given biologic. So would you want a car repair guy or an actual Dr and Pro who works with the Bio System of your Body? You are worth every penny you spend on YOU. Cars meh are replaceable You my Friends ARE 1 of a Kind.

Dentures are healthier than root canals because the root canal encapsulates the bacteria. The length of life is shorter comparing those who had root canals verses those who have dentures.
