Thank you for simple way of presenting the beautiful M3. I agree it is the most gorgeous M camera with this unique ridges. I have the 35/2 V1 8 elements lens with goggles on my M3. Always a joy to shoot with even after 60 years.
Muahahahahaha ha! That long? Well, it'll only take 3 kidneys and 3years worth of your wages for the couple of lenses, you'll also need. Well, unless you go with Voigtlander / Zeiss lenses, then 1 year worth of wages.
Though I haven't shot much with it recently, I plan on hanging onto my M3 until the bitter end. Bought it in 1969, with a Canadian 35mm Summicron. How much did it cost? $250; about $2100 now.

I need an M3 in my life. Been wanting one for over 35 years now

Is this a _Double Stroke_ or a _Single Stroke_ - according to the serial number, this should still be a _Single Stroke_ , right? ;-)
Single!
It is soooo beautiful.
Unfortunately / fortunately, I can't afford Leica cameras, but I do still lust and dream about the Leica M-A.
