- As you may of expected our attempts of saving our boy, Triumph, has failed. He was no longer taking his supplements or eating leaf. He wasn’t regenerating red blood cells, he was terribly anaemic and much more. Too much for a koala to deal with. The fight for our precious one was over. I know we have done our utmost to save him and beyond.
We chose to put Triumph to rest in his run that was specifically made for him. I held him tight whilst I said my goodbyes, reminding him of how much he is loved by all from around the world. He died peacefully in my arms with a ray of sunshine caressing him. Thankyou Dr Jackie. 💕💔

This was hard to watch, and even harder through tear filled eyes. He had a good life thanks to his amazing and loving caregivers. It's been a great privilege to follow the story of his exploits, he stole my heart and there is a special place inside where he will always be remembered, bless you Marley for raising and loving a very special koala and I hope, in time, there will be another one you can raise and tell us about on You Tube

When I cry, she and Macy(my Scotty) both kiss my tears away. They are here with me right now. They have been watching over me carefully since I had thyroid surgery a week ago.

Nonostante le varie difficolta' ha vissuto una vita circondato da tanto amore...non e' sempre cosi purtroppo per alcuni koala di alcuni zoo...sapete bene a chi mi riferisco...le cure di base sono importanti ma quello che fa la differenza e' l'amore, sia negli umani che negli animali...non sono una veterinaria o una specialista.. ma da infermiera sono convinta che questo faccia la differenza! Non esiste solo un benessere fisico ma anche mentale e psicologico ed e' tutto collegato ... soprattutto per degli animali selvatici tenuti in cattivita' per varie ragioni
