It’s so surreal having watched you since breastfeeding my second kid and stumbling across your channel when y’all were still childless and going to Hawaii and stuff and now you’ve had kids and started listening to canon plus books like us. I don’t know why it’s always so fun when different worlds collide. 😂 I also love the Wilson’s and don’t agree with all they teach- I can eat the fish and spit out the bone.
Have you looked into/heard about the Daysy tracker ? It basically does the work for you for bbt tracking. I used it and I’m about it start using it again (postpartum). Love it and barely have to think about it

Haha, I will always watch all of your Q&As and Tea Times; I love these chats. ☺️ I definitely felt it when you talked about how there is a cultural shift toward always talking about the negative aspects of parenting. I appreciate that we seem to be shifting toward more authenticity, collectively, and that it’s seen as “okay to not be okay” in any realm, in mental health, parenting, etc. However, the hardships of parenting do seem front and center in sooo many places, and it greatly skewed my thoughts on parenthood for a long time. That’s why I appreciate you bringing it up and talking so positively about your experience, especially as someone who thought she maybe/probably wouldn’t even have biological children for a long time. I’m in my early 30s, and, as you pointed out, that’s not too late, but sometimes it feels that way since I’m still single. I try to feel grateful for all the things I DO have, and who the heck knows what life will look like in ten years?! It could be drastically different.

Loved this Q&A. I’m 29 about to turn 30 and I’ve been stressed out about hurrying to get pregnant. I dealt for years with chronic pain and PCOS and all the lovely things that come with that 😣 so I put off having a baby and feel like i can’t now because I’m “old” even though I’ve always wanted to be a mom

I just had my second baby he is 4 months old. With my first boy I got pregnant with him immediately an at that time I was age 27 an now with my second I am 32 an this time it took 4 to 5 months to get pregnant. So I think age does play a big role. I was getting super impatient and was about to seek help then it happened.
Age definitely plays a factor! But I think it’s just one factor… praise the lord for your babies!:)

I just have to say I believe wholeheartedly in waiting on God’s timing for second baby as I have been going through it recently. I had a baby in June 2020, and my sister told me she was ttc. I prayed to God every night that she would have a baby before I ever had another baby. I felt a confirmation from Him that would be the case. Well, she went through infertility and I wasn’t getting pregnant once we started trying. I had a chemical pregnancy in March 2022, which was super tough, but I kept saying it is God’s plan, I was trying not to worry about it too much. I did hope that I would get pregnant by the time that chemical pregnancy baby was going to be due in November. Well Thanksgiving came and went and I got my period. I was so bummed, but I found out my sister was expecting! So then I thought okay God, if it is your plan, let’s see what will come. I set an appt to see an infertility specialist in January. Well two days after Christmas, I found out I was pregnant. I am 10 weeks and have an ultrasound next week. I am praying that everything is okay. But it turns out that my baby (if things go well) will be due on the date that my Grandma passed away last year. I was so close to her and I feel like she had a hand in my getting pregnant and I feel like God planned this as a way to help me with the loss of my Grandma. All of that goes to say, God has a plan for you and I truly believe he has this wonderful plan. The waiting sucksssss, but trusting in Him has strengthened my faith and love for our God. 🙏🏻💕

I think it’s really normal not to want to conceive when you’re unwell - every time I get ill (a lot with a toddler in childcare) it completely puts me off having another one and then, once I feel better, it’s all I want and think about

Andddd I’ve dislocated my knee couple times…def a gross horrible feeling. I also straighten my leg instantly and it grinds itself back in and then it’s sore for a few days after, ugh.
The thing about body fat is that location matters - fat in the tummy area can be dangerous because it can impact our organs, whereas fat on arms/legs/butt area is not inherently bad/unhealthy (to a certain degree of course).
I wanted to leave a comment of encouragement-- Im in my late 30’s I had a baby at 33 and 36 years old- I’m 37 and really want another. I had my first in my twenties and I’m actually healthier in my thirties than my twenties . Low toxic lifestyle, plus healthier eating= better fertility for me personally. Don’t worry. Trust in God. Also, I really prayed hard for my last two babies- I got pregnant with my 10 month old when I ovulated “late” God is truly in charge. Trust in his good and perfect plan for you. I don’t believe God causes all the bad- but he uses it for our good & his glory. I listened to a Dr. Steven Lawson sermon and he shared that often God allows trials in our life so that he can use it for his purposes in relation to other peoples hurts. My heart hurt for you so much! 💕I really hope that the Lord blesses you & that you’re able to conceive and have the best pregnancy soon!

I really appreciate your honesty when it comes to your “faith” in your faith. I am also a Christian and “feel” that it is the truth, but also have thought that if I am wrong, Christianity still feels like it would be a life well lived that showed the most love and did the least harm of all the other religions that I examined. I’ve gotten some pushback when this idea has come up with Christian family members but ultimately we never really know! That’s why it’s called faith 🤷🏼♀️

Do you believe that people's fashion tastes vary by age? For example, I've noticed that many youtubers/influencers in their 20s and younger like to wear sunglasses of crazy colors, shapes and sizes, while youtubers/influencers in their 30s and older don't like to wear those sunnies and prefer to wear basic/classic ones that are timeless and good quality.
Lol it’s definitely an individual thing! I generally prefer “classic” sunglasses! But I also own pink heart shaped ones:)

I feel like the persona that you explained about having children that society has pushed on us woman is now showing the brutal results of hardship. Women are reaching their mid to late 30’s, realizing they do want kids, and now it is extremely hard or not possible. Many having fertility issues and feel the paint of being “tricked” into “live your life without kids” “you will be happier”. When in reality we women were meant to be wives and mothers. It is our happiness from the Lord. Jordan Peterson speaks on this topic often. I pray more young women listen 🙏

im 35 now and 22 weeks pregnant with no 3 . had a miscarriage 2 years previous when my cycle was regulating after breastfeeding. my body just wasn't ready but we got pregnant easily this time xxx

To the person who asked the food cost question: don't sleep on the dollar store. For real. Depending on how they are near you, you can find a lot of good basics like pasta, eggs sometimes, dry and canned beans, flour etc. Just make sure to check the per unit price and compare to something like Costco or grocery store sales.
Dude yes!!!! we shopped at the dollar store for produce in the past when things were tighter! It wasn’t organic but we got fresh food!
I had a similar knee thing happen to me with my good knee at PT for my bad knee…SO traumatizing! I know that pain & shock! 😵💫

(UA-cam is where I watch) but esp since you mentioned Christian Healthcare Ministries whom they recommend 👍 also they teach money the “God and Grandma” common sense way, love it! Listen if haven’t. You’ll love them. He’s a hoot too.
Also, we have an individual health policy with high deduct, so it’s cheaper. Just for God forbid something major/accident etc happened. Bc could bam have 100k to way way more, so it’s super important to have health ins. Yes I know it’s annoying paying ugh.

Also, the scale religious question- is best on feeling. Not truth. On a scale God is 100% real it’s a 10. It’s not about feelings. God’s word is actually the inherent word of God. Every word of God proves true. Proverbs 30:5. When our “feelings” don’t match. You know that God is real- because you stand on the authority of God’s word. The problem is most people base God’s existence on how they feel about life or their life.
I actually don’t think your answer about whether you’re sure about your faith was “lame” at all. I think it would’ve been lame if you said you were “100% sure” because I don’t think anybody can be. As you said, even Christians don’t all agree on the same things. Show one person a chunk of scripture, and they’ll think it means one thing, while another person will get something totally different from it. It’s important to keep an open mind and I admire the fact that you aren’t afraid to say you’re not sure. You can really only go based off what you feel. Belief isn’t a choice, at the end of the day.

faith question is very easy for me - i am not a religious person, however i am open to many possibilities, as we actually DONT KNOW and i liked you saying - guess we see when we die - as OF COURSE there is no right answer - it all depends on where you are born and traditions of your family - if you are born in lets say italy, raised as catholic christian, you are taught to believe in God etc, same applies for an indian raised as hindu or a saudi arabian raised as muslim - they all believe (as they are told from very yound age), that their religion is the "right" one - but thats not true of course :D maybe there is god, maybe there are many gods, maybe there is nothing, maybe we reincarnate, who knows - we will see only after we die - so lets make the best of our time here now, in case there is no other life after :)

I think the pandemic exasperated a lot of mental health problems and also created sole new ones yes… wild times…
