Wow it’s so crazy to hear you talk about another baby, after watching you for so many years and I remember years ago you were set on never getting pregnant yourself due to your pain. You’re made to be a mumma and did so well through your pregnancy!

I actually really like that you go off on tangents when you answer questions. Most Q&A videos feel too short to me. Or the person constantly directs you to go watch their other video or read their book if you want to know the answer. I’m always like, why did you pick that question if you didn’t want to answer it in this video? LOL! Anyway, keep the tangents coming. 😀

I LOVE how open and honest you are about everything, especially motherhood and all the random things that go with it. I'm about 8 weeks away from being a mom for the first time ever and there are SOOOO many little(and big) things that people just don't talk about in regards to mothethood and the female body. We're all expected to just figure it out.....and I've been having so many panic attacks about the not knowing. Being able to listen to you just talk about whatever is on your mind without editing yourself is just so calming for me.
Also you're right. Chiropractor is life.

Watching your at home birth inspired me so much, I legit cried the whole way through. I even told my BF that this is what I would love to do. You are so strong and I love your positive energy. And I agree it’s so good just to go outside and breathe the air and just absorb the outside energy. Such a great video 💙

Love this video! I’ve watched your videos from my mid to late teens and now I’m almost 22 and the advice you give and the content you produce is so beautiful! You give such open advice that is well thought and use your platform as a great role model that I’ve looked to! Thank you! Side note I’m an anthropology major in c and in my sociocultural classes we talk about perspective/world view all the time so you worded the advice about what the internet shows you versus real life is pretty spot on! There’s social constructs that people don’t really think about or find information for themselves most times.

Thank you for your videos Nikki. I am from Oregon but I’ve been stuck in Sydney,Australia as my boyfriend can’t leave the country right now with closed borders. There’s a lot of stress and anxiety right now and I miss home so much. I was supposed to finally move back home this year after 3 years and start to settle. Seeing your life and it’s realness and homemaking in your videos help so much. Thank you for doing what you do.

I personally think it’s creepy how some Internet personalities or even tv stars won’t show their babies faces. They blur them out or show the baby’s lower half. It’s just odd. Like maybe don’t show the baby at all instead of using the child as a sort of teaser. I love seeing Baby Logan! I think as a long time viewer it means even more to me because I feel like I’ve “known” you and Dan for years! He is a cute baby!!!!

If I would have had a home birth I wouldn't be here today. After I gave birth, last month to my 1st baby, I ended up having a severe hemorrhage and lost 3 liters of blood, had to have 5 blood transfusions, and ended up in the ICU. I wouldn't have been able to get to the hospital in time for them to save my life if I had a home birth. So I am very thankful and grateful to have given birth at the hospital.

For depression I also recommend with what you said, people need to get their Vitamin D checked. I didn't realize how Vitamin D can effect you health wise. And therapy, I convinced everyone needs it 😆... Rawbeautykristi started she wanted to do a home birth and she got a lot of heat for it and has been relentless mom shamed. I feel so bad for her. Because she was told she would never get pregnant.

This is the EXACT reason I deleted everyone off my Facebook and only use it for our business page. Seeing everyone's opinions, beliefs, arguments, political drama, etc. Waz dragging me DOWN. I've been off it since February and it's been INCREDIBLE. My friends constantly tell me how they want to delete it because of everything going on now and I'm so glad I made that choice!

Nikki! Thank you so much for sharing the tips on how to holistically deal with depression. When I get moving outside, I feel 1000x better. And getting in the Word and being conscious of what I am putting into my mind and heart play a huge role in my spiritual, emotional, mental, and even physical health. So thank you for speaking truth on this topic!

Wow... they really sleep a lot at first. And I’d been around babies a lot. I like UA-cam videos more then podcasts. I like to physically see who’s talking to me lol. Odd I know!

I have mental health problems and I am disabled. When I could get out I did feel better. But often the motivation to get moving isn’t there when depressed so it’s a vicious cycle. You have to be really really strict with yourself to push yourself to get out and do things to help you feel better. I’m just stuck in bed most of the time but I do things to make me feel better mentally. Long baths and just being kind to myself.

the depression advice you offered is really awesome. truly think all those things you mentioned are good for all of us to do! there certainly is a very crucial need for therapy and medication (actually I am in school to be a therapist so ofc I believe this) but I definitely agree its important to recognize the importance of a holistic approach!

I watch another mommy blogger that's potty training a two year old and has a 7 month old baby and it seems like such a mission trying to teach a child a whole new skill and taking care of a new baby at the same time

Your advice on planting seeds of hope is such a strong message. I truly believe you are right! I was playing the comparison game on other couples and "how perfect they look and seem" which was making me second guess my marriage and relationship with my husband and I truly think the evil one has been working extra time to plant these seeds of doubt! So I stopped and getting on social media outlets and gave my mind a break and literally started reading my bible again today and last but not least got my medication refilled and took it! I hadn't realized how much it was helping and my husband made a really good point about the benefits I was experiencing! Anyways! I agree!!
