The SpongeBob feeling sounds like a panic attack or disassociating. I disassociate pretty frequently and have since I was 12, I am now 30, it's very unpleasant and unnerving.
Thank you for unlocking this video, Nikki. I can relate to so much of what you said. Your experience and feelings are so valid. I’ve also had horrible doctor experiences and have withdrawn from medication. It’s soo rough. It’s such a tragedy that doctors prescribe meds to patients without discussing the side effects or talking about what the withdrawal process will be like. I went cold turkey when I stopped my meds and it was the worst idea. I was awake for 4 days straight and couldn’t sleep. I had to wean off, like you. I never would have taken them had I known beforehand what the withdrawal would be like. Doctors are a fork of drug dealers for sure. Sending love my friend!
I’m coming off of my SSRI right now. I have felt like a legit crazy person. I’ve been trying to explain the brain zaps to my husband but I thought it was just a me symptom. I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one that experiences these symptoms. This video was exactly what I needed today. So thank you for always being so open to share your experiences. ❤️
You are definitely not alone, I went through them too. Just take it slow and take care of yourself.
My zaps were more of a constant vibrating sensation in my jaw and side of my head...they would come and go...it's crazy because I only took 10mg on a Thursday and then 10mg on a Friday...then quit...Horrible!
I’m sorry you’re going through this Shelby!! Hang on girl… apparently they’re super common! I pray you get through this soon! I’m glad God used my video to encourage you friend 🙏🏻💜
The brain zaps were definitely real!! You are not alone!
i went though it it got better after 3 weeks ... going back on tho
It’s crazy, I was on the highest strength Lexapro and I quit cold turkey - I was seriously unwell for 5 weeks. It was the worse decision I ever made to be honest. I felt absolutely horrible and miserable and honestly the sickest I had ever felt. Cold turkey is not the way to go, no matter the strength your own!
Hope you're feeling better now
@@mattmoore8897what were the bad symptoms? how did u feel after the five weeks? I seriously feeling an urge to get off lexapro. I feel like it’s not good for me anymore. I’ve been on Prozac and then lexapro for almost 5 yrs and I don’t want it anymore but I’m scared to get off
SSRIs have SAVED my life. Butttt I know they can be so detrimental too. Appreciate you seeing that both of these things can be true. Love this vid, Nikki!!
SSRIs destroy health in new and unique ways - fading thyroid, fatty liver, holes in the gut, etc
I'm a Patreon as well, but I just want to say that this video was SO good!! So I'm excited that UA-cam gets to see it as well🥰 Thank you for your thoughtful and inspiring content!!
I agree!
Shame your supporting someone who put their dog down for no good reason :) sleep well at night x
I have been a pharmacist for 17 years and I’m sorry you went through such a crazy experience with your dr..shame on her and your pharmacist for not educating you and talking to you about side effects, what happens if you miss or skip a dose, etc..THAT is my job to do that !
I have been severely depressed since I was a child. I have had an autoimmune disease, type 1 diabetes, since I was 12.
It has caused a lot of issues not just physically but mentally; emotionally, cognitively, etc.
As I said I have been depressed majority of my life (the past 20 years) but I had weird things happen that never happened prior to me being on antidepressants. One thing being massive hysteria. I would lock myself in the bathroom. Sit completely naked in the tub and SOB for hours. I was losing my mind.
When I got off the antidepressants suddenly (I started having seizures..I don’t think antidepressants were entirely to blame but for safety reasons I had to quit them cold turkey according to the Neurologist that was assigned to me). My depression got so bad I developed severe suicidal idealization.
It has been years since I’ve been on them. Haven’t had any weird “crying spells” since. My depression is still bad but nothing compared to when I was on it.
I will say though I believe being on it for 4-5 years f*cked with my head. I’m not the same.
I cannot thank you enough for sharing this video! I’m going through a similar experience, I’ve been taking these kind of meds for almost 10 years now and have been upping my dose throughout because my anxiety and depression have not gone away. I too have been wanting to get off these meds but every time I try the feeling is unbearable. But I have hope that I can figure out a way to get through this. I can do all things through Christ! 🙏It’s crazy how I was thinking about this and your video popped up. Thank you again for sharing your story! ❤️
I’m on week 4 of weening off of lexapro and the brain zaps and brain fog are terrible. I’ve thought about giving up so many times but have powered though and it’s finally starting to get better. No one talks about how difficult it is!
They do eventually go away! Hang in there!
How long were you on Lexapro? 20mg? why are you coming off.... Dr. Just put me on 5mg (probably should of been on something 35 years ago) just always dealt with it.. my anxiety was manageable...
Wellbutrin, Sertraline and Nortriptyline all made my heart race. Lexapro looks like the only antidepressant that doesn’t interact with my beta blocker. Anyone have experience with antidepressants and beta blockers?
I just started taking lexapro I am about a week in and all I can think about is if something crazy happens and I can’t get it then what do I do just like you. I used to take sertraline and when I stopped my heart raced so fast everyday for about a week. I’m a little more comfortable after hearing your story of getting off of these little pills so thank you honestly.
Thank you… thank you…. Thank you for posting this!!
I’m on a benzodiazepine for anxiety and it’s horrible being on it and horrible trying to come off it. Your story is encouraging that one day I’ll be able to do it. Brain zaps are super scary for me. They happen when I’m falling asleep. Brain fog is at an all time high etc. Please pray for my journey to one day be free for the medicine/symptoms.
I love how people forget so fast
It's just those animal Abu*sers supporters supporting another one of their kind .
Let them be and let's stay away from these people🌞
I truly appreciate your honesty. As someone who has dealt with clinical depression since childhood I will tell you that NO doctor will tell you how difficult it can be coming off antidepressants, I’ve been to more than I can count at this point and they all breeze over it. I was also told I could stop Wellbutrin due to the low dosage I was taking and I was sick with withdrawal symptoms for two months straight and my doctor refused to admit it was withdrawal.
So in the numerous years I’ve been spending trying to fix my messed up brain, I’ve tried all medication except for stimulants, I’ve been on anti-depressants, benzos, antipsychotics, atypical antipsychotics, mood stabilizers. And I will be honest, withdrawals from SSRIs are by far the worst. I was on a very high dosage, my doctor cut me off cold Turkey and I spent 4 days feeling like I was coming off some very hard street drug. Vomiting, cold sweats, permanent nausea, and muscle spasms that lasted 2 months. Now I also want to show the other side of the coin, you can wean off the right way, done it when I was 16, it did take over one and a half year to wean off but I did not notice anything wrong going on with my body or mind. The biggest problem is finding a doctor that realizes how actually your brain becomes dependent on that medicine.
I’ve found my “miracle drug” in Lithium, not that it comes without any risks, but I find most side effects to be physical (nausea, thirst) and I somehow prefer them to the daunting mental side effects of all the other medicines I’ve tried. I don’t turn into a zombie, I don’t need to sleep 12 hours a day, it’s truly a god sent. That said I still have other medicines to manage my anxiety when therapy just isn’t cutting it, and sleep medication when changing routine just simply isn’t working. However there is a part of me that is terrified of what the side effects of lithium could possibly be in the long haul, there is not much known about it, doctors don’t really know how it works they just know it does. And of course the physical side effects of ingesting a metal salt for a prolonged period of time. Unfortunately for me personally there isn’t much choice, my quality of life without the medication is very low.
Benzos are the worst. I was on 3-5 mg of Ativan/Xanax a day for 14 tears. By far the worst drug I've ever come off of.
Seeing horrible doctors can be really traumatic and aweful!:( that’s why when you find a good one hold onto them!:) I have been on Cymbalta for 2.5 years for mental health things but want to get off it eventually because while it’s great for Major Depression, Social Anxiety,PTSD,muscle pain I’ve put on 20 kgs from it:(:/ and now I’m 40 kgs overweight, another problem to Address! Physical and mental health problems get exhausting!! I’m age 36 female I’m so over it lol that I’ve taken a break from going to the GP, cos it gets exhausting to constantly be addressing your problems all the time in GP appointments!:/ I’m just trying to exercise, eat healthy and be mentally healthy and trying to psyche myself up to eventually get off Cymbalta down the track and lose the kgs! Doctors do not mention withdrawal symptoms from anti depressants and it’s not ok… going off them can be really hard!! They don’t warn us of the withdrawal side effects :(
I think you would like the book Mind of your Own by Kelly Brogan… she is an Ivy League trained psychiatrist who eventually stopped prescribing and took a totally holistic route for all mental health disorders, even severe ones, with amazing results. She talks about all the scary (mostly hidden) science, including that over time people that take no medication have much better long term results than people that are medicated. And also discusses the link between psych meds and suicides and homicides, which there is a very strong one sadly. Recommend to everyone reading! 💗
This is very interesting! Thank you for sharing! I will look into her and her book!
Just wanted to take a moment to encourage! Love this, and I love your work/content, I hope you have many many blessings
Wow thank you 🥺 your sweetness shines through this message. 🙏🏻💜
I’m laughing my a** off because I feel like I’m sandy from SpongeBob and I have since I was like 8. I’m 27 now. I wonder what it’s like to not feel that way. SSRIs don’t even help me 😂
Crazy that you uploaded this while i’m having the worst experience from trying to come off lexapro😩 dealt with numbness, tingling, insane head pressure, brain zaps, so much more. Had to get right back on
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this🥺 it’s a journey!!!
Wow, I could relate to so many things you said. I was on lexapro for about a year and a half in college due to extreme anxiety, and the brain zaps when weaning off were SO REAL! I remember thinking I was crazy. I can remember sitting in church at times and every time I blinked, I felt the zaps. I've been off of them for about 3 years now and never want to go back. Thank you so much for sharing!
Dude 3 years?! Man that’s crazy 🥺 I hope you experience relief soon! I don’t remember when mine stopped but it took a while.. ugh. I’m sending you an e-hug friend!
@@NikkiPhillippi well it only took a few months for symptoms to go away. Although I didn't have my period for 3 months after getting off it too! That was a wild side effect.
Thank you so much for sharing! I have experienced the doom feeling and disconnected feeling. I had it often when I was having panic attacks. Mine was caused by abuse and severe anemia and Grave’s disease. Both I’ve been able to heal with GAPsS followed by Nourishing Traditions. GAPS primarily.
I’m currently on Wellbutrin. Generally, it has changed my life. I feel like my hormones are balanced and my mood has stabilized. But I have definitely experienced brain zaps once or twice when I’ve forgotten to take a dose two days in a row. The brain zap is definitely a sufficient reminder.
SSRI also has a paradoxical depression.
I have lupus, and fibromyalgia. Plus depression, and anxiety. The autoimmune is from my mom side and the mental is my dad. My symptoms were becoming active at 14, countless emergency room visits, my primary doctor tested me for autoimmune. The doctor is called a rheumatologist. I’m sorry you had a bad doctor. There’s many amazing rheumatologist out there. I’m on Cymbalta (120mg) for the depression and they help me with the nerve pain. I don’t have many nerve pain as much because when I miss a day my brain is feeling all these feelings, mainly really moody, very disassociated ( the SpongeBob thing) I feel so anxious, I just wanna sleep, it’s horrible when your body is not on an anti-depressant. Hope you feel better, I’m so sorry you had a bad experience.
I've been on Antidepressants in the past,it ruined my life it made my illness worse.I had bad side effects I was manic and sucdial.,please talk too the right Doctor before starting a new medication.loving your video's great content, take care keep well...
Thank you SO much Nikki for sharing this! I shared about my mom and her issues with antidepressants. I am excited, is that the right word? to hear about your story. I will comment again after I watch the whole video ♡.
finally got to finish. You know my life has been so crazy that I am even behind on my favorite youtubers like you Nikki. Thank you for this. I have been tempted to take ssri many times but was always afraid I would have a reaction like what Dr. Jordan Peterson had. I do not look down on anyone for using them and always pray they find relief.
I’ve been feeling sick since being on Lexapro. Ugh
The roller coaster feeling sounds like something I’ve experienced too. I think since you had anxiety about it too it makes sense
Im on ssri’s and will have to ween very slowly off if I can get off ever. Tbh
Thank you so much for sharing this. ❤️ I can relate to almost everything you said. Just knowing I am not alone helps! Xoxo
If you feel comfortable sharing, were you taking Xanax daily along with Lexapro? As a therapist with experience working with substance use disorders, Xanax is an interesting thing. I am not a fan of it to say the least, Xanax is very addictive. Again we are all different and different things work for different people
Yup, that spongbob feeling sounds like a panic attack.
The sponge bob vibes is called DP/DR. It’s a dissociative disorder. I’ve had it for 7 years now since I got off of benzodiazepines. It’s a ongoing nightmare. I’ve accepted as a part of my life at this point.
What's the difference between lexapro. Wellbutrin. Effexor etc? How do you know which is best for you without being a guinea pig?

A friend of mine said her entire body felt like it was vibrating for months after getting off her SSRI 😳
Dude yesssss! I relate to the vibration thing for sure!
I've had that every day without SSRIs when I was in a hypervigilant state. I'm doing better but I still get it at times. I think it's a result of all the adrenaline or cortisol when I have anxiety for too long, or maybe it's from the chronic hyperventilation. I wonder if SSRIs can cause it too or it's the stress when coming off of them? Genuinely curious about what causes that lol.
@@rachelt4792 she was on Cymbalta and apparently it’s very common side effect getting off of it! There’s groups on Facebook that talk about it a lot I guess. But that’s crazy you experience it without 😭 I’m so sorry!
I was on this for 2 days (10mg)...and quit immediately...my jaw and head vibrated for over a week off and on about 2 weeks after stopping it...thought I had a damn tooth infection and brain tumor...no thank you, I will deal with my little ass bit of stress by my damn self, it's not that bad....but I am not passing judgment on anyone who has alot going on either, but please rethink these drugs guys....
Thank u for sharing, it was so important, this topic!
Have you ever tried homeopathic remedy type of treatment? Hope u find your doctor!
Any thoughts about adhd medication?
Hey I just turned 24 I used to take mild Benzo like conotril around 1mg after Quitting I felt good but suddenly insomnia triggered now I decided to be on benzos my whole life 😢
I’ve had a similar experience trying to come off celexa. I went back on. Can you say the break down you did again? My doctor told me it’s a low enough dose to just stop and omg it wasn’t.
I just got on it like three days ago but now I’m kind of feeling like maybe I should not take it for my anxiety because I was just having a lot of stress you think you’ll be safe I only took for three days 10 mg
Thanks for sharing this. I'm a patreon but for some reason my iphone doesn't do their platform very well. 🤷🏻♀️ It's probably me. 😂
Whattt?! That’s weird slash good to know! And thank you Nikki 😌💜💜💜
Watching this encouraged me to take my first step and contact my Dr I have been prescribed antidepressants and have my first talking session with a psychotherapist next week I really hope it helps as I really don't know whst to do anymore.
Hi Nikki,
With the watery feeling, do you think that might have been agoraphobia?
Does someone had the feeling like you want to fall? Like you can not keep your balance? Can you tell me if antidepressants helped you and the dose that you take? I want to know other peoples experiences.
Brain zaps are crazy! I am on lexapro and if I miss a day I get them.
Do you like Lexapro?
How you doing now
Thank You so much for sharing your experience!!!💯💯💯 Maybe it will be an encouragement for some!!!🙏🙏🙏 Many Prayers!!!🙌🙌🙌 Much Love from FL 💖💞🌴💖💞🌴💖💞🌴
I have an autoimmune disease too and one of the “specialists” I went to told me I just needed to workout and I’d be fine 😂 I was 118 lbs and 5ft 4😂 like okay byeeeee
☹️☹️☹️😞
I also have crooked pinkies and it runs on my dads side!
Used the same two. Lexapro worked for me. I wish I’d never had taken Xanax though. It’s a bitch to get off.
I love that curl pattern on your hair.😍😍
Thank you!😌
For what it’s worth, ehlers danlos is also genetic! I’ve watched you for years and had eerily similar experiences to you, but I got a formal diagnosis of hEDS recently!
I had that feeling, not with the water part but that feeling and I totally agree it’s almost impossible to describe. And yup, sleep was the only thing that helped. I wasn’t on SSRIs but I was going through family tragedy at that time. Hasn’t happened since then either and hopefully it won’t. I wonder if other people have, you’re the first one who I hear talking about it - thanks!
That’s so interesting you felt that too!!! What a bizarre feeling huh?! ☹️
@@NikkiPhillippi So bizarre!! I mean I can only assume it was something similar as it’s sooo hard to describe but it felt unbearable or at least really hard to bear.
I have tried weening off lexapro after 3 years of taking it like 4 different times and the symptoms and side affects have been so terrible I haven’t felt like I can handle it it was so bad and I had to get back on every time 😢 I definitely wanna try again soon… but gosh it is so hard 😭 It’s mentally and physically draining to get off them ugh
I went through this as well but good to know I'm not the only one. I kept thinking it felt like vertigo but I think you describe it better. I started taking shilajit and adrenal super tonic stress relief by cymbiotika and now I don't have the anxiety symptoms like I was having before lexapro. I hated being on the poison so I went cold turkey, so happy I'm not feeling the withdrawl symptoms anymore, it was pretty bad.
Can you talk about your new diet?
4:25 i was thinking that my clicking and snapping was because of weight loss.. but seems lexapro and xanax combo.. though i used xanax for a month and im almost the 2nd month of lexapro and no xanax more than 3 weeks..
Did being on Lexapro make you gain unwanted weight?
@@r.w3056 not for me but that is a common side effect I hear
Is it better join your patron channel now or the beginning of the month l am really looking forward to seeing this video as I am on this medication for the last two years of my life due to my anxiety and mental health issues please stay safe and strong prayers and thoughts to you love you and your amazing channel love your Australia family friend John xxxx
Hey! I think patreon can charge you either he first of the month OR on a custom date… so either one 💜
Also thank you for sharing and thank you for the love snd prayers 💜💜💜
@@NikkiPhillippi no worries 😉
That was an amazing way of exposing this feeling “the SpongeBob” it’s severe derealization - depersonalization … I have this get worse on Lexapro as well … been on for a year and stopped last week .. I didn’t wean off …
Oi dont do that , ween down first ! It'll make it a lot easier 💙
I have cricket pinky my dad had that as well 😂😂
Ugh my husband was put on cymbalta for neuromuscular symptoms and a similar situation to what you describe. It didn’t help at all with the physical symptoms he had so he went off of it after 60-90 days. coming off of it was awful. The “brain zaps” and emotional outbursts lasted for 3+ weeks. What an awful experience. I’m not saying these meds don’t have a place but his experience was truly terrible.
I was on Cymbalta for about 90 days for nerve/joint pain. The first week I felt okay but started having panic attacks and anxiety spikes. Also I would sleepwalk., I’d wake up in different places from where I fell asleep My (now ex) doctor’s opinion was I needed to double my dose. This made things so much worse and when I got off of it it took about three months to stop having the random ants crawling across my skin feeling. It was hell.
@@dajgirl1995 I’m so sorry for your experience. I thought we had a rough time with 3-4 weeks of lasting symptoms and he was on the lowest dose! Hoping you’ve had more luck with symptom management and viable treatment options since 🧡!
There are so many people on SSRIs I highly doubt there is any correlation with school shootings. Even family doctors prescribe them, and you can easily get them from internet services now. Xanax is controlled (but still kinda easy to get but not to children). Withdrawals can happen at any dose on any medication. Sorry you had to go through that. Personally I think that unless you have a chronic mental illness, antidepressants should only be prescribed short-term.
You’re feeling of the SpongeBob sounds like you had akathisia. It is the worst feeling in the world
No way you resd all of them. Thanks though
I just started lexapro a week ago. I think I should rethink that decision.😮
It’s been great for me
I honestly love your discussions and would love to join patreon but $5/month is just too steep 😓 I hope you continue to upload to UA-cam with videos like this, too!
There's a spot where you can choose a custom amount. I did $1. You could even do $.50. you can also do it for a month and watch what you want to watch and then unsubscribe.
Did. You. Take. Them. At. The. Same. Time.
The same time literally? Or at the same time in life? I never took them together no… if I needed to take a Xanax it would be sporadically at a separate time from my Lexapro
I started off on 10mg...started taking it on a Thursday, then Friday...by Saturday I called my doctor and said hell no, not for me and I quit taking them immediately...this may sound crazy but I had not only the side effects but a withdrawal as well, and yes only taking 2 doses made that happen...Lexapro has a long half life so my body was dosed for over 12 days before the drug was not in my system which is long enough for withdrawal effects. I had crazy anxiety, depression, my head and jaw vibrated for a week off and on. That stuff is crazy, sorry if I offend anyone, but please rethink this drug if you can. That shit took me for a ride, and NO THANK YOU
Hey, I'm in the exact same boat as you described. I took 10 mg doses two days in a row, then stopped Lexapro. It's been about 5 weeks since I last took it and I have felt terrible dissociation and anxiety. I just generally feel terrible and out of my mind. I'm wondering how long it took for you before you felt normal and if you experienced any dissociation or other weird symptoms weeks after quitting Lexapro. Thanks, I hope you see this.
I had exact the same experience and two doctors don't believe me. They both said it's too early to have these symptoms and probably it was just in your head because I was scared I was first time on an SSRI. I SWEAR!!! ... I WAS ONLY 6 DAYS ON IT !!! On sixth day I called my doctor crying saying I can't take this medicine anymore. I had severe anxiety I never imagined I could have, panic attacks at night, nausea, feeling sooo sick I have ever been in my life, suicidal thoughts, and my jaw was locked 24/7. Couldn't sleep or eat. After I stop ,the next 3 days I was feeling a weird feeling of suffocated in my house. I could never imagined that the lowest dose of 0,5 lexapro would do this thing to me. IT WAS HELL
I took Lexapro for one day and within the first 4 hours my body felt horrible. I had severe GI issues and stopped. I recently tried Zoloft and felt great on day one and then second day I was nauseous and tired and could not function at work. Not sure how some people are able to take this kind of med and function for the first 12 weeks?
@@mercyfulvickv2810 did you continue use if after 6 days? Im on 6 days i want to quit and make my way to natural way
Anyone taking lexapro now have ringing in your ears?? I have been on Lexapro for over 2 years and dealing with ringing in. My ears
Oh man… I have a friend who’s mom has been dealing with that withdrawal symptom for a while…. I really hope it clears up for you soon!
Me too thought by reducing the dosage would help with the ringing in my ears but so far no change
I’ve been on lexapro for a month now and after about 2 days of using it my ear ringing got horrible and my doctor keeps doubting it’s the lexapro lol
Super super and superb 💖💖💖 have a great day 💖💖💖
Very interesting.
If you haven’t heard of The Amen Clinic, I recommend checking them out. They do brain scans that diagnose all sorts of things.

My dr prescribed Lexapro and I just refused to take them at all, I had tried elavil for pain but didn't like the side effects
she is so sweet and very cuteable
omg
I can only imagine what those Spongebob moments look like for people on higher doses of antidepressants. It’s gotta be increased, right? It’s horrible that the majority of antidepressants come with the warning “May increase suicidal thoughts.”. Too many doctors prescribe these medications like they’re handing out candy. ☹️ Off topic, but my mom and I also have curved/crooked pinky’s. My pointer fingers also curve a bit too. 🤪
I’ve been on quite a few different SSRI’s and weaning off them is the worst. Each one gave me different symptoms, but they were all horrible and really hard to handle. It took forever to feel okay again.
Can you remember how much specifically?
"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV)
Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV)
By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely. ✝️
Very nice words.
I am on Lexapro and Clonzapam. I don't know how well or not Lexapro is working for me but Clonazapam has been a life saver. I use to always get sick in school since I was like 9 and by always, I mean EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I use to have to go to the hospital because i had no idea what was happening. It turns out it was all anxiety. I just knew I felt horrible. I finally got on meds which was Clonzapam. I was around 15 and it was AMAZING to not get "sick" anymore. I'm 35 now. I'm still on Clonzapam and started Lexapro a few years ago. I only take Clonzapam as needed which is once in awhile for me but honestly.. been a life saver.
I never had any issues if i missed a pill of Lexapro or anything but different for everyone I guess. Xanax was a huge saver for both of my parents who had severe depression, anxiety as well as Bipolar.
My dad saw this 1 doctor who was adamant about getting him off Xanax and this is a guy who's taken it for like 25 years and she told him to go off it cold turkey. Thank god he never listened because when we brought that up to other doctors, they were like no way. You can get brain seizures, etc. And that sponge bob feeling, my friend had something like that happen but she explained it that she felt like she was living and seeing the world thru a coca cola bottle.
You're too pretty and healthy to be sick....... I believe that's how some doctors assess us. I was in that kind of situation. Only I'm not pretty, but looked very healthy during my sickness.
Pretty women
You talk so much off topic
This is weird timing. I just started taking lexapro. A couple months ago I got prescribed it from my psychiatrist, I’ve never taken any medication like it before. I’ve △⃒⃘lways been anxious in social situations but since I was the passenger in a roll over car accident 2 years ago my anxiety in cars has gotten a lot worse. Anyway, he said the same things about it being super mild, I probably wouldn’t feel any different but someday I may notice when I’m in a situation I’d normally feel anxious in I wouldn’t be. Well the first day I took one (5mg) and that night I felt nauseous and the next morning I woke up feeling really antsy like I had to move my feet and I felt the way I would if I had a bunch of things I would have to do that day but I had nothing on my schedule. Normally I could sleep in but not that morning. Anyway I didn’t take it again and told my psychiatrist the next visit. He said try taking a half pill for a few days and then the full pill and see how I feel the next visit. I was hesitant to take it because I also saw all the side effects online after the first incident but a week before my appointment I started taking half pills for 6 days, then one whole one on the 7th day. That night I actually had a nightmare for the first time in a long time. A car nightmare, where the car I was a passenger in drive into a lake. I didn’t bring it up at the appointment because I thought it might have been just random but I’ve had nightmares threlast 2 nights too, after taking full pills… That’s 3 nights in a row. So this evening I took a half pill instead and I hope I don’t get another nightmare. If I get off I hope I haven’t been on long enough to get the withdrawal symptoms.
How are u doing now ?
I only see beautiful people with depression
