- In my latest investigation, I delve into the consequences of a recent visa scheme introduced by the British Government in February 2024. This initiative appears to have unintended repercussions, as I've discovered migrants from Jordan and Nigeria-who maintain homes and lives in their respective countries-are navigating a loophole to the detriment of Irish hospitality and taxpayer resources. Venturing into the heart of Dublin, Ireland, I engaged directly with the individuals involved. These interviews aim to shed light on their perspective, exploring the complex interplay of motivations, expectations, and the legal frameworks that guide their actions. This journey seeks to unravel the intricacies of a situation where the lines between seeking opportunity and exploiting generosity seem blurred, all through the lens of those directly impacted and the Irish community footing the bill.
Ireland is my my ancestral home on my mothers side I have great love and affinity for Ireland and the Irish and I'm saddened that the Irish are being sold down the road by their corrupt leaders who seem more determined than ever to make the Irish a minority in the own country within 2 decades. Those leading Ireland right now seem to be following the same playbook as all western nations where they must dismantle the nation for their puppet masters who have handed down the orders.

Hi all, I'm one of the "generous Irish people". I'm a clerical officer in a big hospital. I co-manage staff in triple digit numbers and I can only afford to live in a box room in an over packed house share. Can you imagine what it's like when you have no hope in your own country, meanwhile paying for people like this to have a better life than you? As soon as they leave tent city and get accommodation they have a better life than me, it took me 15 years to build my career to the money I'm on now and it's still not enough to live as well as a migrant.

Our son lives in the UK, so my wife and I went for a holiday and our son took us over to France, on arriving there the first thing we saw was a migrant family living under a car overpass , husband wife and two children sitting on a tarpaulin with their possessions. We had never seen this personally and it was extremely upsetting, our son had become accustomed to it and told us to ignore them 😢 that eventually they would be taken care of. Ignore it and it will go away, i don't think so.
