Imagine you get bigger, but because your skin doesn’t grow with you, you’d need to put all your energy into getting rid of this old skin of yours. Spiders are very vulnerable during a molt. The process is exhausting for them, they can even get stuck and die horribly. When shedding their skin successfully, they need to recover - their new skin including their fangs are still soft, so they have to harden up. Tarantulas who are able to kick hairs, usually kick hairs right before they molt to keep away any predators. It’s interesting and super cool.

hey Chanda, I appreciate it! and thanks for dropping by!
@@arachnotherapy7322 thank you for sharing such an awesome video. Huntsman spiders are totally awesome and such misunderstood lil creatures
@@chandaphillips1337 I totally agree with you. I let them wander around the house freely. they rid me of roaches and other pests I'm probably not aware of.
@@arachnotherapy7322 lol I do the saaame thing 😂😂. My husband gets upset with me sometimes but grass spiders and wolf spiders ain’t gonna hurt us. They also kill off brown recluse spiders. Those do kinda hurt me but not too too bad I guess
I feel my senses BLOWING UP just by watching this video
*Me seeing it on my bathroom wall*
Me:nope nope nope nope
*burns the house to the ground
The music changed everything, thanks
Literally ones I see even just one spider that's gigantic I immediately spray it with water I'm not lying that's kinda terrifying 💀
There's no need for that
I made this comment 1 year ago and I cannot understand anything I said-
absolutely terrifying
Interesting fact: if it is molting, it means spider is getting bigger
now sleep with it
NO
freaky
that's the smartest method of molting ive ever seen, using gravity to make it easier
This is the reason why Australia had a wildfire
Did someone try to torch a huntsman? haha
@@arachnotherapy7322 I hope someone never does, otherwise he is already dead.
Fascinating and a little bit frightening while being so fragile at the same time!
Alright it’s done molting, get the shoe!
If you use a shoe, it'll put it on
It's so strange seeing how long spider's legs are when completely outstretched like that. Gorgeous boy! I bet it felt so much better being able to breathe after all that.
I didn't know they did that! Fear of spiders increased
It’s interesting and super cool.
truly incredible. thank you for catching such a breathtaking critter in action !!! Huntsman’s are one of my favorite arachnids but far. they’re so beautifully terrifying. i have three tarantulas so i’m not bothered by spiders much, but i know how crazy fast Huntsman’s can be, especially with their size it sure seems intimidating. but i’m so fascinated by them it’s hard to be terrified lmao. AMAZING video!!! it’s nice knowing that he was able to get through his molt in peace. good on you for leaving him be, but also being able to catch this wonderful video💛🕷
Awesome!
I saw a small brown house spider molt a while back. Was very cool to see. I'd like to see a huntsman do so though!
Arachnophobia activated ✅🥲
🕷️🕸️
Who ever is afraid of spiders? Thats arachnologically impossible!
@@donyosxd dude is in the comments defending spiders with his life 💀💀
Great job! Before I found this video I thought that those things are "dead" huntsman spiders. But now, thanks to this video, everytime I see that in my bathroom, I'm gonna sh*t my pants knowing that the owner might still be around hiding somewhere.
No one’s going to talk about how something so big got In their bathroom and evidently set up shop without them noticing?
Huntsmen are mobile spiders, they don't "set up shop" the way that web-builders do.
As someone that has zero fear of spiders and finds them cute, this actually made me understand people with arachnophobia.
Incrível ... impressionante ... muito bom
That was Fantastic! I was so relaxed and peaceful with the spider, so therapised.. Wonderful!
Pray forgive me while I seek succor for my soul in religion. I will need it after seeing this
No worries. everyone has their fears, or simply find different things creepy. Thanks for dropping by, though!
@@arachnotherapy7322 it is pretty awesome, tho. Don't get me wrong :3
@@JABO95SA it iiiiiis I was so happy to witness it. funny how happy I was watching it alone in the bathroom at 2am lol
Kinda looks she is just touching herself thinking ' is this really me? Am I whole and alive? '. Very nice capture. :)
