You are a good man, Bruno. Only who keeps his hands in the pockets does not do mistakes. *Twince two different mechanical forget to tight my wheels. Last time a fault sealing on my JTD cost a massive oil leak. The mechanic pay a night in B&B for this issue.
I always try to do things like this. A car that I delivered two days ago, customer said the side blinker now comes off. Ok, I did not messed with that but I did order a detailed wash and clean, maybe it did affect the side blinker. So I will send a new one to the customer.
Hello. The symptoms before and after on the middle and live data were exactly the same. The rpm needle on these gets a bit loose and imprecise with time. On live data it's not fast enough to read bad.
@@alfaromeonoproblem Ok. What i hate about these engines is that it has inly one cam sensor. Good luck finding a bad timing. The only way is to get it apart and put on the camlocks.
It happens to all of us. I bought two sets of spark plugs, both turned out to be Chinese NGK and the spark plug leads had the wrong resistance, finally got the correct parts and my Alfa now drives well. You should also check for vacuum leaks, although I had new gaskets on the exhaust and intake it still leaked. RTV red on the exhaust side, on the intake removed all four "new" carburettor mounts, removed the studs and belt sanded all I sides, not one was flat. Getting sick and tired of buying new faulty parts.
I would also recommend you to check ignition coils for cracks. Normally there is tiny crack on each coil on the bottom side. Though it is tiny, its enough to cause misfires.. look carefully, I have not seen a single 20+ year old ignition coil without cracks on this engines.
Hello. I'm aware of that, these ones are very good, but I had a GTA here with 4 bad ones, 2 of them seriously cracked. I had another 3 liter 166 with all 6 checked... But this ones are good, odd enough
A misfire from spark plug or coil most of the time throws pulse check light(active). O2 sensor if they are defectife throws check(static). But bruno is brave enough to solve it with out any obd.
Hi and tx a lot for the videos.. am lookin for the way to do the purge of the selespeed's robot fluide on 156 2.0T.S 2001.. can you help me please ? tx in advance

It takes a great mechanic to admit nobody is perfect and to put it on camera!
Thanks for watching and for the support
He who does nothing makes no mistakes
Thank you for your support
Congratulations for making a video about your mistake. Might help somebody else someday
Thank you, I hope so too
The dancing rpm needle was a good indicator of a crank sensor issue. Also it should have been visible on live data.

@nsz2302 now imagine the 12v ones.. no cam sensors
@@alfaromeonoproblem Wow i didnt know that. Not even on the 2.0v6 turbo?
@nsz2302 no, Notting. Only two knock sensors on the valley

That is why I always sort by price, highest first. But not even that is a guarantee sometimes.
Hello, thanks for watching and thanks for the tips.
Have you checked crank sensor cable? Sometimes it melts to the engine and makes problem on temperature change.
Thanks for the tip. I'm glad I did find the issue

can you put one for that crankshaft position sensor that only has a point-like contact if the original one is linear
Sorry, did not understand your question or affirmation
164.3.0v6 12v has really weak threads at the end of the oil pump wheel, it's 6mm thick.....sometimes it has even broken off
Here the rpm sensor goes?

Hello. Thanks for watching. There is the procedure on the diagnoses tool, just follow the steps.
how do you test if the coolant is leaking ?
Hello. Check out on the description below, I have a full playlist for cooling systems.
some days are smelly =( and shit happens
Took me two days to figure this out.. all good now
Or you could just charge the customer for something else, like any other mechanic would. 😜
Not my way... :)
@@alfaromeonoproblem I know. xD
