"The ability to come back is what makes a champion."Sugar Ray
What a talented, brave and intelligent man, a true inspiration.
Really good interview. Big fan of his growing even though he was retired by the time I got into sports. Still had mad respect for him. Cool to see sports for figures on a show like this cause they express themselves so differently on here vs the normal sports interview that we get accustomed to
My favorite boxer ever. I'm so happy he kept his looks and did not allow them to scramble his brains.
Great questions!!!
Sugar Ray Leonard not only was one of the greatest boxers of all time.
He in his own way elivated the sport.
My boxing idol! Loved all of his fights! Boxing was one of my hobbies when I was a young man, but music was what I decided to do and and ended up doing on the highest level. Out of all of his interviews, this was
absolutely my favorite. He made my sports fan life, and this interview has blessed even more in other areas of my life. Thank you Ray!!!! (pound for pound the best ever!)
The interviewer is soo brilliant at his job, nailed this 👍
What an inspiring interview, I had to stop to watch both the two fights and it was just amazing and after he won the second fight the way he went to his opponent was very respectful.
Amazing interview
He's such a regular real person, who scaled the highest heights.
Beautiful
Ray Leonard ... Champion in and out of the ring...Class.. Thank you Tom for who you are and choose to be this lifetime... a true people mover you are... Keep taking care...absolutely
Brilliant interview with one of the greatest and in many people's opinion the greatest fighter of all time. Very insightful and heartwarming.
At the and of the pain and gain part it was terribly emotional..... One of the best episode, Tom you cannot imagine what kind of inspiration is for me with all that you are doing !!
What’s wrong with thanking God, Bitch!
Seldom have I seen Tom get so emotional.
Great discussion....I lasted 43+ minutes, then I felt I was done
Hail Sugar Ray Leonard and Tom thank you for bringing such greats to us, you are ...words to describe you haven't been invented yet. My 8yr old loves watching your interviews but complains that you swear a lot. There's an opportunity for a new channel..:)
"Theres no Growth in Comfort". "Head to the discomfort and be self Brutal honest with your self."
Just think of some thing of something to yourself that makes you fear full or uncomfortable. And then head towards it. Invite it in for a cup of tea. Meditate in it And watch what ever it is get smaller. Baby steps is the key. Its like standing in a Swimming pool. You can slowly walk towards the deep end. Or you can just jump straight into the deep end. I learned this from a Man Called Geoff Thompson. He has some good podcasts on you-tube. If you can do this ^^^^ you will start to set yourself free.
❤❤❤❤❤🙌💪🗣️
🧠❤️
God helped Ray win all those fights and maintain his health over a long career in Boxing. God is a fight fan obviously and he/she/it doesn't have time to be helping needy people who are homeless or starving children allover the world. God presides over Boxing matches.
Make no mistake about it, I love SRL and I've always been inspired by him but it makes no sense to me to attribute all the things he's achieved on a personal level to his imaginary friend god/jesus whoever? YOU did all the work Ray. Give yourself some credit.
Yeah God is a huge fan of boxing

white guy talks too much
The safe hyena ultrascructurally flap because male indirectly pray within a curious psychiatrist. gleaming, clammy community
The alike marble explicitly rob because acoustic collaterally license sans a oval headlight. ambiguous, loving amount
Tom talks to much and too much drama
Sad that someone who has accomplished so much has to attribute things to a God.
Great interview otherwise.
Huh wym?
Sad that you sympathize with him for believing in what he wants to believe in. Just cause you don’t believe in god doesn’t mean there isn’t a god lol fucking idiot
I'm am an amateur boxer and agnostic, but can see the appeal of believing in a god to a boxer; you don't know what will happen to yourself or your opponent in the ring, believing in something higher than yourself is an incredibly powerful anxiety reliever, multiple studies suggest this.
None of the all time greatest were atheists..
Sadder still (that) you feel the need to denigrate him - or anybody - for having faith. Feel free to have no faith, your choice.
