We still have a long way to go; those in power are somewhat always reluctant to let go, and often the repercussions are devastating to generations that follow.

charity begins at home ( corruption )... if you know where you coming from - then your destiny is in focus because All the MP "s silence is so deafening concerning corruption ( cadre deployment) - just watch Zondo Commission for the few that came to light )

Well the ICC issue is real but is Africa belonging to the United Nations at large is not the real BIG issue ? The global system including the system of trade, currency and technology transfer as long human rights protection is a TOTAL FAILURE!!!!

no , Africa need not be a affiliated to ICC - they have learn the robes and know how to sort out their problems themselves - Thank you..( just take out ALL the Foreign Arm-Force out of the country - so that we can silent the guns )

Regarding the ICC, I believe, that Africa must develop its own models of dealing with such matters because this court has been one sided. There are leaders in the West who have waged a war in Iraq based on a false premise and yet they are living free lives. Thousands of innocent people have died, however, people like Tony Blair are walking this earth free. What does the world say about that. I am saying this not to excuse any leaders in Africa who have participated in atrocities or initiating ethnic violence against their own citizens but I am saying if the rule is been enforced one sided, then there is no need in being part of it

Mr Mbeki to jump start the manufacturing sector then BEE must be scraped for a start as you are side lining the very group that can help and have the know how. If you want this group back be for it is to late, 55 years is a long time to wast on BEE. I fore one am head hunted in Europe and the USA even central Africa. In my land of berth I can not get a job that reflects my pay grade and expertise for the last 22 years. I have worked overseas as a white man my skin was not a factor only my skills to do the job at hand. I have a work shop tooled up in SA to do the very thing that you SA needs to duplicate over and over. ie example: A small one man enterprise that I can do for you Turning, Milling, Welding, IRTA Rope Access, IMCA Diving & Welding under water, Oil riggs & ship repair work. All of this equpmint moth balled as I must give all my know how 51% to a black stake holder. Hell I get payed more money working world wide for a fair and just out come and do not have to give up my Libity or my assets to a stranger. The point is if you empower every Qualified person to be his own person in his own right to be a new start up then you have momentum and not a monopoly of big out fits milking the BEE and filling your corrupt BEE brotherhood. These skills you are exporting with your BEE to Europe over and over for no money a big wast of man power. Nurses, Doctors. Engineers can BEE afford this brain drain to Europe. NO

BEE is indeed irrelevant but for one to discredit it or ridicule its existence they must go back to the reason behind its formation, a clue: it was formed by the likes of Frank Chikane. BEE and Affirmative Action was meant for something else but it all seem irrelevant now. We need to move forward, I guess, but I do not know how.

ALSO affirmative Action and abuse of Human rights against minorities who had nothing to do with Apartheid and are discriminated against as a new young Generation. This is HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS of genuine bonafide SOUTH AFRICANS MINORITIES with a long Ancestry in this Country more so than many African Youth whose Ancestors also migrated and by a LARGE BLACK MAJORITY against a very few Minorities !! The ONLY Country in the World guilty of that. It should be taken to the World Court in the Hague and STRICT SANCTIONS ENFORCED AGAINST SOUTH Africa by the REST OF THE WORLD until Affirmative Action and BEE is discontinued and Basic Human Rights of every bonafide South African restored and based on skills, discipline, responsibility and NO RACE DISCRIMINATION.!!> ONLY THEN can South Africa claim to be Democratic and NOT another AFRICAN DICTATORSHIP!
