Seattle Seahawks fan here, i just wanted to take a minute and shout out the Carolina Panthers. Even though im not a Panther fan, i can't help but respect what you guys have going on right now. Dan Morgan and Dave Canales are the perfect change of pace pairing that Carolina desperately needed, the culture of the team and the city of Charlotte as a whole will benefit the most from it. Yall couldn't have asked for a better GM and head coaching duo, and i can't wait to see you guys win more games this upcoming season and put the fear of God back into your logo (not that i don't respect the Panthers' logo already). Good luck to yall in the draft as well 💯

No horse in this race. What nobody knows, not even Carolina fans, is that Bryce Young is elite. I've been around the game on the professional level for decades and I can firmly say his floor is concrete.
It's the marriage of his arm talent, accuracy, processing, leadership and poise. His father is a sports psychologist. The intangibles upstairs have been unmatched since he was a child. Look into his eyes, it's different.
Even though Canales, whose articulation reflects a gem of a coach, says all the right things in building the best team, that's PR. He absolutely knows he needs to take out the trash and inject major talent at the skill position, and it will be interesting to see how much influence he has on draft night.
Bryce Young is a 15 year starter. This comment was worth it to write for the handful of people reading, who probably are on the fence about him.
Great press conference. Def more impressed with canales than the previous two. He could def be special. He’s got the Dan Campbell motivator vibe.
I just hope and pray that Canales can right the ship. I fully believe in Bryce, and he's hopefully going to be able to show everyone who talked crap about him just how wrong they were.
Everytime i hear Coach Canales talk i feel more and more hopeful that he's the guy to bring the team back to consistent success. I just feel like he has the "it" factor of someone like McVay who has a truly great grasp of the game, is a great communicator, has a passion for the sport and knows how to bring out the best in his guys. Looking forward to him and the team proving me right 💪
He's the guy. I can tell through a leader's articulation. Ability to think clearly, connect the dots both logically and philosophically, and then communicating that with full custody to the team is key. He's him.
The Coach-QB combo is the most important relationship in this sport. Fortunately you Panthers have an ELITE quarterback Canales gets to work with as well. I've written about Bryce extensively and won't get into that. Just trust the two pieces are there for the long run.

I see Dan and Dave bringing back that Panther Heart! That’s what we’ve been missing for years now. I also like when Dave said “Its not about surrounding Bryce its about building a good football team and Bryce doing his part.” Football is a team sport and everyone has to do their part. It was tough for Bryce last year not having an O-Line (running for his life every possession) but this year so far it looks like he will be a part of a becoming offense.

Cam Newton had to do more than just his part. And that’s the difference. Bryce should be held to the same expectations. The quarterback has to do more especially if the team around him is below average. Why we traded away all our assets to get him at 1. Come on, quit playing coach. 😅
