Hortiz is a very affable guy. He patiently answers all questions with thoughtful answers and doesn’t get flustered. Looking forward to both him and Harbaugh finally taking the Chargers to the next level.

This is just so smart to get his name out there. If we are a total success he is ln line to get looked at for a teams new GM. And since he is a minority we would get back (2) 3rd round comps if he is signed.
The future and this upcoming draft seems promising for our Chargers. This draft will definitely be interesting to watch.

You can forget the chargers are drafting WR in the first three rounds.
Chargers are drafting best available what they talked about leads to that. So if mhj is available they'll take if alt is available they'll take. If bowers is available their gonna draft them
I have been thinking really hard. I wouldnt be mad if we went RT with the 5th pick.
Counter point Joshua Palmer is our WR1 and if he gets injured we are in a bad spot

Jesus Christ, let Chad speak! WTF? I don't know if I blame Hortiz or the press more, but you got him sitting there like a passenger instead of him offering his opinions. Hortiz should have passed off a few of those to Chad... like what it was getting used to Jim. We already heard that answer from Hortiz. Sports media is EASIEST the laziest media in existence. Not one question directed to Chad until 34 minutes into the conference.
This has to be the worst media day I have ever seen. It was a reason why Joe brought out Chad to this interview. Its because Joe trust what Chad see,'s in players so Chad is the person the media should have been questioning to pick his brain. This was missed opportunity to get inside information on what type of players Chad is looking for. So yes it was a bad media day.

Too bad it's not up to Jim. That's the GMs job and he even said that. The same GM who drafted Zay Flowers in the first round last year when their WR group was even better than ours now.
"Trademark" lol you watch too much NFLnetwork. You gotta look at history, Jim's first or second year with the Niners he drafted a WR in the first and even said he wanted to draft Julio Jones which obviously didn't happen cause Falcons took him a pick or two before.
In the last 10 years the ravens drafted 4 WR, 3 LB, 2 DB, 1 TE, 1 QB, 1 C & 1 T in the first round. Harbaugh niners took 2 LBs, 1 WR, 1 DB.
