One thing I really like about Gretsch is how they keep just "Gretsch" on the headstock no matter what the price point is. They don't have some other brand they use for the cheaper guitars. It's like they're proud of every guitar they make. What's also nice about this is when you own one you can still tell people you play a Gretsch. All they will see is a Gretsch. You don't have to go "Oh I only have the Epiphone." or "Oh I just have the Squier."
With most guitars, the lower the price, the lower the quality. With Gretsch, the lower the price, the fewer the features. I have an Electromatic Jet Club that has 2 Dual-Coil humbuckers, 3 way switch in the Les Paul position, one volume knob in the traditional position and one tone knob in the traditional position. It's as nice as some $1000+ guitars I have played. It is stripped down, simple and no-nonsense. It's a great guitar.
@@KevinJDildonik epiphone was it’s own company but Gibson acquired it and now uses it as a cheaper non USA made alternative, at this point it is a “knock off gibson” if u wanna call it that but yes they also make a USA made version of their original guitar they made before Gibson bought them out which is just as good as Gibson guitars

BEAUTIFUL looking guitars!
I was able to purchase a Gibson Soapbar Cream Colored P90 pickup for the neck replacement on my Les Paul Standard. I'm keeping the Bridge Burstbucker. I'm looking forward to having it installed. P90's are an interesting sound, for humbucker equipped guitars. I can't wait to check out how it'll change the tone on my Les Paul. Cheers boys!
Get a load of Lee with the Pat Travers tone at end! Rock on, brother!👍
“The P-90 derived its name from a Gibson internal PU90 reference.”
I bought one in the gun metal ...and it's an amazing guitar. And looks amazing
The intro riff kind of sounded like "Rock 'N' Roll Damnation" by AC/DC! Great video none the less!
Stay safe
oh wow that sounds really nice for that price point
