Ghost Town Back Open

A former centerpiece for Maggie Valley reopened Wednesday. "Ghost Town In The Sky" opened it's chair lift to the top of the mountain to let riders see the spectacular view. It also opened three ziplines that run through the forest. The park shut down in 2009 and the owner filed for bankruptcy. Alaska Presley bought it hoping to restore the attraction and the community's lifeblood. Presley plans on reopening the "Western Town" next year and a new attraction called "The Holy Land" in 2014.

It sucks a fat one now and is a major rip off @ $25 a head. All you can do is walk around the town. There are no rides running as of Sept 2014. You're also very likely to get stuck on the chairlift for a considerable amount of time.
