Maybe they can’t be in Smash because of licensing/copyright issues? Maybe the Bayo devs got the rights to use Fly Me to the Moon and Moon River for their remixes, but Smash didn’t have those rights and only had rights directly from Bayo to use original music form Bayo.

I could imagine that being used, but maybe have a You from Bayonetta being sung while a gun shoots. Then the Climax cuts in. But... the intro here is also fine. 1:04 for reference.
