Daniel had the chance to test the brand new Ducati Desert X Adventure Bike. We took the bike off road to see what the new Desert X is capable of away from the asphalt that Ducatis are known for.
The Desert X is Ducatis entry into the mid weigth Adventure bike market and it is exciting to see the concept that Ducati presented at the EICMA in 2019 come to life in a very performance oriented way.
The Ducati Desert X 937cc engine produces 110hp which you can take full advantage of in "Rally" off road mode. KYB suspension and Brembo brake components take care of the handling and stopping of the bike.
We came away very impressed with what the bike is capable of in stock trim and are looking forward to getting more seat time on the Ducati Desert X.

Thanks for the surprising review. I didn't expect the rave comments about the Desert X off road capability. Looks-wise, it reminds me a lot of my old Ducati Elefant. Nice background scenery of Otay Mtn...
Thanks for watching! I was positively impressed with the bike. Didn’t expect it to handle as well as it does.
My bike come in next week 😎😎
How do you like it so far?
@@SedlakOffroadSchool love it. But guards still not coming. So i will push it 100% next year.
@@FavoriteScenes5999 That's awesome. Glad you are loving the bike.
Seem like a great option. Love to see you review the 2023 890 Adv R from KTM when they arrive here in USA next month hopefully!
I’m trying to line one up and get on it as soon as they are here 👍🏻
awesome review! quite technical, thanks
Thank You!! Glad you enjoyed it.
could You tell me what kind of exhaust ( standard, Termignoni slip on or full Termignoni system ) was on the test bike? Looks like standard but sounds good.
The bike was fully standard for the video other than the seat. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
It seems like way more than a poser (their scrambler) in the dirt , I assume it does ok on the road. Great review
.
It’s a very impressive bike. A lot of progress in the ADV space over the last 2 years. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
It does rock the road, trust me 🥳 it's by FAR the best performing ADV bike on the road. I often ride it on mountain roads in Switzerland and the way it handles one can hardly believe it's an off-road bike.
is that 492lbs with a full tank? wow thats a ton! I had my ktm 1090r stripped down to about 445 with just 3gallons in it.
It isnt heavy bike. When its stock condition, desertx is lighter than 1090r.
Concerning the different modes: You are aware that all of the parameters can be easily changed individually by the rider - without tools of course...
