A dubstep drop isn't something I would've expected during a 1920's gangster car chase, but DANG did it work well. Lackadaisy has left me nothing short of impressed.
The song, it's exciting, makes you want to go crazy like Freckle and Rocky, yet it's so subtle and addicting The violin and trombone / trumpet just makes the song so addicting just imagine Zib and Rocky playing this. I wish they made a music video with this audio
I love how this starts off very peaceful and melancholic (by swing standards), but obviously builds up to something. Then the remix kicks in and you understand that the name "Olive Branch" and the images of Peace doves that the lyrics invoke are more than ironic.
I gotta admit, I didn't know about Lackadaisy before the pilot, but once I was done watching I've read the comic... in two nights! It's an absolute piece of art and all characters, from both sides, are absolutely amazing! I hope the comic is not done yet and we won't be left with a cliffhanger, especially now when the story thickens with every page!

I'm sorry to say that I am not the original composer, but a technique I do a whole bunch with instruments I don't tend to use, is I just start playing notes that sound like each individually and try to move from each on in a good form.
