For me, Sunset Rose Cocktail has a Jewish touch to it. It the first soundtrack that has been made during this century and mimics the Jewish music so well. My reason for it to be my favorite.

I like how they are able to mix old-school jazz with modernized dubstep at some points during this soundtrack. It makes it feel modern with the old-school animation style feeling bubbly and alive! Good job lackadaisy & crew!
Theres a lot of electro swing and swinghouse music that does mix it, tho this one goes pretty hard, ive made a playlist of similar songs but if you dont wanna check it out ill just say Spekrfreks and Jamie berry
I really love snazzy jazz with electroswing and some dubstep, it's such a vibe. I found this out when people made fan music of Bendy and the Ink Machine (don't judge me), and since then I've become fond of that style.

On top of the just...amazing comic, the pilot, the research, the art, the animation, the music in general, all of it - I got to thank y'all so much for introducing me to Sepiatonic and for the song Olive Branch specifically. No joke, it's become one of my top comfort songs (it calms my brain and helps me relax) and if it doesn't end up as my number one song on spotify for this year, it'll be darn close to the top 😄

The Webcomic was incredibly well written, the art work was spectacular, and in the pilot the performances and animation and music were all incredible! Everyone involved should be proud of their work! I look forward to seeing more in the future! Its all very inspiring work! Inspired me to fandub some of the webcomic. I have 3 videos of it so far. Great work everyone!

Olive branch is of the electro swing genre, and despite making a playlist of similar songs from my large catalogue with like 2000 eswing songs, its still very special, cocktail is still eswing but it was easier to find other stuff like it, the other songs are just standard swing and ragtime

I showed lackadaisy to my family and they freakin loved it!! My dad is now constantly asking for when episode two drops and if theirs anything new 💀💀I mean rightfully so! The comic and pilot are so amazing, we can only patiently await for more episodes, animations, ect. Until then, I will have to continue telling my father there is no new lackadaisy content yet. I'm not sure if he knows animation takes quite alot of time, especially if you want it to be perfect like the pilot.😓😓Keep it up lackadaisy team! My family loves ya aswell as many others! :3
I must say, I absolute love the use of rubber-hose style animation! The dedication to the actual time period this is set in, to the point that you can point out what *month* of 1927 the web comic and pilot take place due to little historical details (it’s May and September respectively I believe) is why I’m so invested in this show.
As much as the music came across in the pilot -- and it *did*, thanks to phenomenal sound mixing -- hearing these tracks in their entirety is a completely different, almost transcendent experience. Freaking BRAVO!

I really hope this get made into a full show, I've seen the pilot so many times and reactions to that pilot, it never gets old. I've also read the comic and omg, the amount of potential this could have as a show outright.

Sepiatonic's Olive Branch is nothing short of legendary. You just simply cannot defeat that incredible mix of action music with excellent musical orchestration filled with jazz elements.

i must admit lackadaisy is one of the only animations with so much charachter in each frame i dont know how but the world building, plot and animation fuses so well to make one of the most glorious pilots i have ever seen!

Reminds me of some of the stuff L-Train & 4Everfree did a few years back for Ponies At Dawn. Though, this had a lot more of the old 20s vibe to it.

Sepiatonic's Olive Branch is nothing short of legendary. You just simply cannot defeat that incredible mix of action music with excellent musical orchestration filled with jazz elements.
damn hell i love this soundtrack, most electro swing I've heard have been lackluster lately but these guys are dropping real beats.

Listen,the mix of violin and just everything is beautiful,if I’m correct there were vocals to this that were absolutely amazing,especially where this song comes on in the pilot,it just showed the exact amount of energy it needed it was just perfectly orchestrated and gosh I just love listening to it again and again

i must admit lackadaisy is one of the only animations with so much charachter in each frame i dont know how but the world building, plot and animation fuses so well to make one of the most glorious pilots i have ever seen!
I can't wait to see the full series heck I'll donate money if needed because I wanna see this I fell in love with the pilot episode
