Aloha Ria, it sounds like you might have some great ideas but…
But giving folks just a few short hours to submit an application by tomorrow on Halloween is going to be very “tricky or treat” to say the least. 😂
After watching this video, I’m still very curious what is ARDC, like what does ARDC stand for or what does it mean? I heard ARDC does this and does that but after watching this 19 minute video, we as viewers still don’t know what ARDC stands besides four random letters.
As a trained and retired investigator, it isn’t clear to me why you must have a “ conduct committee” which is like putting the cart before the donkey kind of thing.
You have no reports or incidents to do reports for yet. I’ve worked on committees before but the best one that I served on was back in the 1990’s on the “stunt and safety” committee for the Screen Actor’s Guild and Stunts Unlimited, which required lots of leg work, visiting filming locations and movie sets to obtain eyewitness accounts, police reports and etc. Then doing follow up interviews and then spending days to write a full unbiased report before committee evaluations can be made. Sometimes the toughest things for me to do is making recommendations that could rule in favor of or against a movie director.
For example, I had a famous director of a famous movie that you would recognize that wanted to use these kids to do stunts on skateboards in front of the camera back in the 1990’s on City of Los Angeles properties, ie; public streets and at the time, I could not recommend that because of insurance and liabilities plus the fact we had adults that looked like kids from a distance that could of done those same stunts on skateboards.
The one thing that I do know is that there is always 2-3 sides to a story. Maybe in your case, it’s possibly based on internet posts or comments. I’m being honest since we still don’t know what ARDC is yet after watching this video twice.
I do know some of the right people that you are looking for on the technical side but don’t know if they have the spare time to serve on a great committee that is or would be required in order to be effective. I believe that Ria and I have spoken before via email and I would like to offer some recommendations and/or referrals for you to follow up on.
As for grants, I have a great idea for grants that is ham radio related. I have a busy schedule today but I’ll see if I can make some room and follow up. Mahalo🤙🏻

Sounds like a great way to promote the amateur radio digital side. Unfortunately, for me, don't have the necessary qualifications to serve on a committee at this time, but I wish good luck on this endeavor. I have subscribed to the newsletter. Thanks for sharing. 73. KC3UEE
